After watching Ruth Garlick and Thomas on 'Love on the Spectrum', we can't help but declare them as "couple goals". 22-year-old Ruth explains in her introduction that she is deaf and autistic. She then proceeds to pull out her pet baby snake Cleopatra, who, she claims, helps her stay calm. Considering she is on a dating series, the producers ask her to describe her ideal partner. Ruth describes her ideal partner as a "blondie", who enjoys cuddles, and is able to accept her quirks and nerdiness. She then surprises the producers by revealing that her ideal partner was in the same room, and calls for him. We then see her boyfriend Thomas appear, who joins Ruth in her interview. Thomas reveals that Ruth and he have been dating for nearly four years now.

Be prepared to shed some happy tears after watching this lovely couple and the way they interact with each other. It is just so heartwarming. When the producers ask Thomas what he loves about Ruth, he proudly looks at his girlfriend before replying that she is smart and funny. He then playfully adds that she has a great body and describes her as sexy, while Ruth giggles.

He then adds that their relationship works really well because he is autistic enough to understand Ruth, and she understands him. When asked how they met, they reveal that they were introduced to each other by Ruth's sister. Ever since falling in love and getting into a relationship, things have changed for the better for the couple. Despite being on the autism spectrum, the couple decided to be independent and moved in together. They describe their relationship as "steady" and "stable". They even got engaged, when Thomas decided to surprise Ruth by proposing to her with a ring. He has big plans for them, he reveals that he plans on buying a house that oversees a train station. The beautiful relationship between Ruth and Thomas is so pure and heartwarming that it will reaffirm your faith in love.

'Love on the Spectrum' is available for streaming on Netflix.
