WASHINGTON, DC: Eno Alaric is a TikToker who went viral after claiming he is from 2671 and has done time travel. The man who goes by the social media handle @radianttimetraveler further said the aliens are descending onto Earth this Thursday, August 17.

He posted on Wednesday detailing that the key events will be the evidence of the fact that he can do time travel. As per Alaric, among the series of important dates, March 23, is when 8,000 people will be selected by "an alien known as the Champion’ to save humanity.

The above-mentioned date also coincides with Thursday’s Senate hearing with TikTok CEO Shou Chew which is his first appearance before Congress.

Why TikTok CEO is testifying before Congress?

The CEO is set to testify before the House Energy and Commerce Committee over the social media company's plans to continue operating in the US This comes because lawmakers are worried over the app which is owned by ByteDance, a Chinese firm. It will be facing questions whether data from the US users would be possibly provided to Beijing officials.

On Thursday, committee chairwoman Representative Cathy McMorris Rogers opened the hearing by telling Chew, "Your platform should be banned."

Chew during his appearance before Congress stressed that TikTok functions independently, and is not under China government’s influence. He also emphasized that the app is not available in mainland China and the company’s headquartered in Los Angeles and Singapore.

Is Earth going to be invaded by aliens?

Eno Alaric is not alone, and there are many other TikTokers who claim to be time travelers and have predictions on specific dates, as per NewsWeek.

It wasn’t a surprise that many users made fun of their claims, as one observe Alaric claim, "If there is going to be an invasion how we are going to see the rest of the events?" the second said, "I think you play too many video games.”

"So if none of this happens will you delete this account and go back to being a normal dude?" a third questioned.

According to Alaric, "A very hostile alien species is coming to take back Earth, we will not win. He further warned, "Another alien, whose world was destroyed by the hostiles, will save some of us." The TikToker made the prediction and uploaded a video on December 30, 2022.
