Meet this wonder man from Maryland who has magical fingers and a sharp brain. He is a viral TikTok star with over 400 thousand followers and all the credit goes to his daughter who decided to showcase her dad's musical abilities on the keyboard. Dan Binstock, also known as "PianoDadDan" claims to be able to play any song on the piano after listening to it once. His videos on TikTok now garner more than 30 million views in less than a month on the social media platform.
Binstock says that he started practicing piano at the age of 5 and also claims to have never learned the instrument professionally. "When I hear music I see colors in my mind, so when I’m playing piano I’m just actually following the color patterns in my mind that arise from the sounds," Binstock adds in his explanation.

Binstock's daughter Alexa says that it was never her idea to start a TikTok channel, but it was Dan Binstock who approached her. "It wasn’t even my idea, he came to me one day and was like I want to start a TikTok, and I was like you’re 48," she said.
His daughter chooses songs that the average dad probably hasn’t heard before. And remarkably, Binstock picks it up in just seconds! Dan and Alexa were both amazed at how quickly his following grew on the social media app. "It’s very funny, it almost doesn’t seem real when I look at the numbers," said Dan.
His love and passion for music have now amazed millions across the globe and Binstock claims to love his job of sharing his talent with people around him and many more living thousands of kilometers away. Alexa says that her dad's talent has now made their bond much stronger. "It’s just been a really cool experience, and it’s also brought me and my dad a lot closer."
When Dan Binstock was asked about his future intentions, he says he’s been getting requests from musical artists and others in the industry are taking an interest in him. But for now, Binstock wants to flow with the wind and enjoy his ride and fan following on the social media platform. He also hints at making his own album of songs and works on Spotify, however, he realizes that it requires time and commitment.
