Who is Greg Pence? Mike Pence's brother touts Covid-19 relief he voted against, Internet calls him ‘jacka**’
President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan was not one supported by many Republicans. In fact, not a single Republican lawmaker voted for the plan. The coronavirus relief package plans to give $1,400 checks to many Americans and provide aid to state and local governments, restaurants and businesses.
Mike Pence's brother Greg Pence, was also one of those who voted against it. So when Rep Greg Pence (R-Ind) took to Twitter to tout the provisions of the American Rescue Plan, he was called out by social media users.

According to the latest reports, an important part of Biden's plan, the Restaurant Revitalization Fund is intended to help restaurants make up the revenue they lost to the pandemic, up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location.
Like most Republicans, Pence also voted against it. Hannah Osantowske, communications director for Rep Greg Pence, discussed why Pence was tweeting about it. "We consistently direct constituents to information they may find useful. Congressman Pence is always looking for a silver lining hiding in a big lump of s**t if it helps out his constituents," Osantowske reportedly retorted.
The Washington Post noted that since Biden's bill came just weeks after Congress had passed a coronavirus relief package under President Donald Trump, many Republicans argued it was too much too soon. At the same time, the publication also pointed out that one cannot neglect the idea that a change in presidents might have also had something to do with their votes for the plan.
'Jacka**' voted against it
Twitter was determined to call out Pence. "You voted no, and now you’re trying to take the dough," one user said. "YOU VOTED AGAINST THIS, JACKA**," another added. A user pointed out, "Oh another Republican who wants to vote NO and take the dough! Help IS on the way - no thanks to you!"
"Thanks to Democrats in Congress! Greg Pence voted NO on getting this help to Hoosiers. Republicans do not support working people. Ever!" yet another user added. Along similar lines, another said, "This is exactly what we can't let happen. Greg Pence is touting a component of the #AmericanRescuePlan, but he's neglecting to mention that he voted against it and did everything in his power to ensure this assistance would *NOT* be a reality. Don't forget that in the midterms."

According to Forbes, Greg Pence's net worth is $12.6 million. Pence and his wife, Denise, own two antique malls -- they are listed on his financial disclosure form as being worth $5 to $25 million.
