Who is Gilbert Quiroz? Ex-husband of 'sex slave' Rudy Farias' mom calls her a bigamist married to multiple men
HOUSTON, TEXAS: The mystery surrounding Rudy Farias' mom, Janie Santana, is becoming more puzzling. The mother, who has been accused of sexually assaulting and drugging her son for an extended period, is now facing additional allegations as her ex-husband refers to her as a bigamist. Gilbert Quiroz claims that he filed for divorce just within a year after finding Janie had been legally married to one of the five other spouses.
Rudy Farias was found last week after being missing for eight years. After being found outside a church with bruises, cuts, and blood in his hair, Houston police took him under their care. At present, Farias made some shocking allegations against her mother, as she drugged and turned him into a ‘sex slave.’ According to community activist Quanell X, the victim revealed to reporters that he had been sexually abused and that his mother had concealed his whereabouts all this time.

Who is Gilbert Quiroz?
A Navy veteran, Gilbert Quiroz is an ex-husband of Janie Santana, who is facing accusations of sexual assault and drugging her own son. According to the 58-year-old man, he filed for divorce in Houston, Texas, after marrying Janie on October 23, 2012. Quiroz wanted to end their relationship on the suspicion that his wife was already married to one of five other spouses, and thus, their union was ‘null and void.’
However, as per court documents, Santana hit back, counter-claimed in May 2015, and demanded $25,000 in damages. “Gilbert has been guilty of extreme cruelty towards Janie warranting termination of their marital relationship. Gilbert has committed adultery. Reconciliation is a no-go," read her court filing, as per Daily Mail.
As per divorce papers, the pair was married 'by proxy' while Quiroz was stationed in Tucson with the Arizona Air National Guard.
'Almost unrecognizable'
“Respondent is Janie Santana. Respondent has also previously used the names Janie Santana Rodriguez, Janie Santana Larios, Janie Santana Farias, and possibly Janie Uresti,” read the October 2013 petition. “The purported marriage is void and of no effect … because Respondent was already legally married and a party to other purported marriages.”
Santana took to Facebook to announce that her son has been found, but he was in a poor physical condition. “Rudy is in pretty bad shape, he has cuts, soft tissue tumors, small openings, and swelling on the soles of his feet, along with bruising, old and new cuts/scrapes on his body, old dry blood on his head, and hair, he has very very dark complexion now almost unrecognizable,”' she wrote.
