Who is Dominic Fike? Rapper and Lil Nas X have a trippy make out session in Brockhampton's 'Count On Me' video
While all the buzz surrounding Lil Nas X's music video for 'MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)' has barely died down, it seems like he is back at it again. This time, the artist has starred alongside Dominic Fike in a music video for Brockhampton's single, 'COUNT ON ME'.
In the video, Fike and Nas X are seen driving around, while talking and laughing. They ultimately make their way through the woods, where the two experience what seems like a drug-induced trip and this is followed by a steamy make out session.

Who is Dominic Fike?
Born on December 30, 1995, in Naples, Florida, Dominic David Fike is an artist of Filipino and African-American descent. Fike has three siblings — two brothers, Alex and Sean, and a sister, Apollonia. He was raised by a single mother.
Fike began playing music at a young age. By the time he was 10, he learned how to play the guitar. His popularity subsequently grew over the years when he began posting music on SoundCloud. He was later signed to Columbia Records and has since then worked with talents such as Brockhampton and Halsey. His debut album, 'What Could Possibly Go Wrong', which debuted in July 2020, made its way to the top 50 in multiple countries, including the US and Australia.
Later that year, he was also a headliner for a concert series in the video game Fortnite. He was also a part of the 'McCartney III Imagined' album, having recorded a cover of Paul McCartney's song 'The Kiss of Venus'. The artist was also featured on former president Barack Obama's best of 2019 playlist for his song '3 Nights'.
In an interview with Naples News Daily, the artists spoke about his creative process. "But a lot of people get caught up in that and trying to make a song fit, and all these things. And I almost did for a little bit, but I just remembered to put more of myself in — I mean, a balance of putting yourself and songwriting at the same time is difficult to find," he said.
"But, I don’t know, if you don’t think about it that way, if you don’t think about it as songwriting, and more of like you’re just streaming consciousness, it doesn’t come out like that other stuff. I try to remember that," he added.
Having worked with Brockhampton before, the artist's latest work is the aforementioned video with Nas X. Twitter was definitely on board with the video. "LIL NAS X AND DOMINIC FIKE IN A BROCKHAMPTON VID?????? WE EATIN GOOD TONIGHT," tweeted a fan.
"something i did not expect to see today was dominic fike and lil nas x making out but i will not complain," added another. "Ok but respect to @brckhmptn for having a music video where it’s just Dominic Fike and Lil Nas X making out in the woods off a bean."
"I’m in love with the way the art world is headed please continue," said another. "I did not expect to see dominic fike and lil nas x have sex listening to brockhampton while tripping on acid in a forest but here we are and I'm honestly all for it," tweeted a fan. "LIL NAS X AND DOMINIC FIKE ??? IM SCREAMING GAY RIGHTS, HEAR ME OUT," added a fan, with a still from the video.
