Krystle Strong: Victim of convicted rapist Jesse McFadden says she 'begged DA' to not release him

McFadden's victim, Krystle Strong, said she was attacked by the man when she was 16 years old. She has now opened up about an attack on a woman by McFadden's brother, Cody McFadden. "He put her in a dog kennel," Strong said, according to Fox News. "She's not actually my family member, but she's my stepmom's family, so that's close enough to home."

Who is Cody McFadden?

Cody, like his brother, is a convicted felon. Deputies from Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, said they were responding to a domestic violence call on July 17, 2022, when they came across a woman who was injured and bleeding. Her arms, legs, head, and back were bleeding, and she was covered in bruises. A federal criminal complaint said she also had a broken arm.

The woman told deputies that the man who beat her with a pole and pushed her into a dog cage. He then used pepper spray on her and used jumper cables to shock her. She was struck in the head with an ax, court documents said. She was eventually able to escape.

Cody lit his home on fire and tried to escape after a standoff with deputies, but was arrested. He was charged with kidnapping and assault on the Choctaw Nation Reservation, as per court records. He was later found unfit to stand trial. A federal judge ordered that Cody be committed to an institution.

Who was Jesse McFadden?

A convicted rapist, McFadden was given a 20-year sentence for a 2004 first-degree rape charge in Pittsburg County, as per the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. He was accused of exchanging nude photos and videos with an underage girl from the Jess Dunn Correctional Center. For this crime, he was charged with soliciting sexual communications with a minor and possession/distribution of juvenile content.

However, McFadden was released from prison on October 30, four years earlier than it was scheduled, according to the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry. His trial for the charges related to the exchange with the minor was supposed to begin on April 1.

Strong recently slammed authorities for releasing McFadden earlier than he was supposed to be let go. "I begged the DA a long time ago not to ever let him out of prison because I knew that he would do this to someone else," Strong said. The current DA, Chuck Sullivan, told The US Sun, "We do not control whether or not that happens." Sullivan did not hold the position when McFadden was convicted in 2003. The decision lies with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
