The upcoming episode on 'My 600-lb Life' will feature Carrie's story. The scales tip over 600 pounds and on the episode she's seen entrapped in a vicious cycle with food at its center. She has developed an addiction that is almost impossible to contain and Carrie continues to go about her day eating constantly to a point where she's a ticking time bomb and is at a danger of killing herself. She fell into this addiction because of some trauma from her past involving her father who himself was a victim of a botched weight loss surgery. Unlike most of the patients on the show, Carrie has a job, a regular one, and she also has a husband and a daughter and they are a happy family, at least they appear to be on the surface. However, Carrie worries that it's all going to come crumbling down because of her addiction to food and that she's going to lose the people who love her the most, including her loving husband.

Who is Carrie's husband Chris?

Carrie is married to Chris and the two of them live together and he supports her every step of the way. He is also the one who prepares her meals while she waits for it at the table. In the trailer, Carrie was heard saying that he's the best person in her life who loves her more than anything in this world. However, she also mentioned that she fears that it might all go away one day. "I am afraid that my marriage is going to fall apart because of my weight problems," Carrie says fighting back tears. "One day he could just walk out and that scares me to death," she further said.

Carrie also pointed out that even though there's a lot of love in Chris's heart for her but at the same time she's aware of the fact that  "it wears on him because our relationship is so strained." She was heard fighting the lump in her throat and seen wiping away her tears as she said, "I miss my husband terribly bad."  Carrie's issues stem from the fact that nothing else matters to her when she gets hungry. She admitted to the fact that food is her number one priority and that she has to have whatever food she's been craving after a long day at work. In the trailer, Carrie as usual was seen sitting at the table whereas Chris worked to prepare her favorite meal of chicken and pasta that she'd been wanting to eat since morning. She hinted at the fact that she gets irritated when she has to wait to be able to eat what she wants because she's always thinking about her next meal and the buildup along with the long day at work makes it all the more difficult.

"I want this. I really, really want this," she said at one point. She also further said that she wants to be able to eat because she's always so consumed with a "let me have it" attitude towards food. And when she finally gets to it, the feeling is incomparable. She says food is her everything and it's like she's in a relationship with it.

What does Chris say about Carrie's addiction to food?

Chris comes off as a very gentle personality as he appears in the trailer. "I actually think she likes food too much," he said about his wife further adding, "something does need to change immediately and I am willing to do anything to get my wife back the way she was before." Chris seems like he's in it for better or worse, however, that doesn't mean he doesn't get bothered by the issues that marred his relationship with Carrie and the fact that she sometimes tends to give food more importance than him. Carrie admits, "my life has changed night and day entirely because of my weight. I don't even know the person that I was, preweight. I lost her years ago," Carrie admits. Will her inability to stop eating lead to Chris leaving her after all these years together? Only time will tell. In the meantime watch the trailer by clicking on the link below.
