Who is Bao Cuong? 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 circus artist is a 'pain master'
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 contestant Bao Cuong is a circus artist who is popularly known as 'pain master'. He claimed to not feel any pain while performing dangerous acts. He originally hails from Vietnam and founded a Kung Fu circus group in 2011. Bao has participated in the Vietnam and Asia versions of the 'Got Talent' franchise with his best students.
Bao and his team have mastered juggling balls on their fingertips, swallowing all types of international swords including blade swords, and scissors. He has also swallowed chain swords and snakes. Additionally, Bao has chewed embers and light bulbs and burned candles in the face, mouth and whole body.
Bao admitted to being 'very passionate about circus art' during a previous interview. He has studied with a circus artist and also assisted in a few small circus acts in the troupe. He has also shared how tough was the training for being a circus artist. He had to practice all night long for whole months and sometimes he fainted on the practice floor.
Bao Cuong competed in 'Vietnam's Got Talent' Season 3
'AGT' Season 19 contestant Bao Cuong was 'Vietnam's Got Talent' Season 3 finalist alongside Huynh Nhu and Trinh Huyen. However, he failed to win the talent show, he was excited to reach the finale after continuously participating in three seasons. He shared after advancing to the finale, "Failure is the mother of success."
Later 'VGT' Bao competed in 'Asia Got Talent' where he scared singer and songwriter, Anggun, with broken glass, snakes, a giant pair of scissors, and hooks. Anggun rejected Bao while pushing the red buzzer and claimed that she didn't want to see his terrifying and dangerous acts in the further episodes but she advanced him to the next round after the live audience booed her. However, he left the other judges speechless.
Bao Cuong is ready to wow 'America's Got Talent' judges
Bao Cuong will soon make his debut on NBC's 'America's Got Talent' Season 19. He will appear during the second round of auditions and is set to wow the judges, Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel with his more thrilling and dangerous acts.
Bao would compete for the Golden Buzzer alongside, Alex Zinger, The Otama Collective, Phillip Lewis, Liv Warfield, Ashes & Arrows, NiNi and more talented contestants.
