Ayesha Dwyer is one of the amateur cooks on Season 21 of 'Worst Cooks in America'. She is one of chef Carla Hall's Bodacious Blue Diamonds and on the recent episode that aired on Sunday (January 10) night, she ended up serving up the most impressive dish in the skill drill challenge. She had a tough time while making the falafel dish that the blue team was required to make, her problems included having difficulty cutting a tomato. However, when she presented it at the tasting table, chef Carla couldn't contain her happiness at how far Ayesha had come, so early on in the competition. Ayesha is a delight to watch, trying to improve her cooking skills in the kitchen on 'Worst Cooks'.

Who is Ayesha Dwyer?

Ayesha is a Waukegan, Illinois native and currently lives in north suburban Wadsworth. This 43-year-old is a children's books author and while she's currently seen improving her kitchen skills on the Food Network show, she didn't plan to do so and never ever imagined that she'd end up doing this on television. Ayesha didn't apply to be on 'Worst Cooks' but she does not suspect her husband to be behind this. The reason? Because "he's definitely not tech-savvy", a report stated her as saying.

"He doesn't even have social media pages, so I know it wasn't him," she jokingly added. "But it could have been some disloyal cousin or sibling that I have out there that put my name out there and still to this day have not told me," she further added.

Jennifer's Edibles in Evanston is her family's go-to place to order food and Ayesha's go-to dish is the tacos that the place serves up. This mother-of-two loves to have meat herself but says "meat and I just have a bad relationship when we get in the kitchen." This week's episode just played into her strengths and were right up her alley. The skill drill challenge in the "Farm-to-table" episode that she ended up winning was all plant-based and she's established herself as a frontrunner to win that $25,000.

'Worst Cooks in America' airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on Food Network.
