Netflix's Korean dating show ‘Single’s Inferno’ debuted in 2021 and followed a group of singles living on an isolated island known as “Inferno” or “hell.” The big prize is an escape from the place, to “Paradise,” a lavish residence. The only way for them to move on to Paradise? Find romance with another contestant. The show gave viewers plenty of flavorful romance and entertainment and grew in popularity, breaking a major record. Now the series is returning with a second season on December 13.

The participants’ identities are kept secret (as usual), as the new trailer for the second season shows them trying to escape Inferno. The first season of 'Single’s Inferno' was a massive success. It made history as the first-ever South Korean reality series to make it into Netflix’s global Top 10 TV list of non-English series. It also brought fame to numerous contestants, many of whom are YouTubers, influencers, singers, and models. Now with Season 2 about to release, fans are wondering which couples from Season 1 have managed to stay together. Well, here are the updates on all the couples formed during Season 1 of 'Single's Inferno'.

Song Ji-ah and Kim Hyeon-joong

Ji-a, the YouTube beauty content creator who had hearts racing with her stunningly beautiful presence in the series, chose Hyeon-joong, a fashion model/personal trainer, in the final episode after she took his hand, and simply uttered the words: "Let's go puppy". Since the finale, Hyeon-joong has posted an Instagram story of a golden retriever wearing a leash, hinting at the possibility of their romance. But with the lack of recent posts from the duo, it's hard to tell if the love is still burning or if the flame has been extinguished.

Kаng So-yeon and Oh Jin-tаek

After a rocky start, Jin-taek and So-yeon chose each other, but their relationship's future remains a mystery. Fans have been speculating that the duo are still together after So-yeon posted an Instagram video that showed the pair potentially playing tennis together. Jin-taek also shared a video of himself on the court around the same time, but neither of them officially confirmed their status.

An Yeah-won and Kim Jun-sik

In what could be described as a romantic comedy, Jun-sik and Yeah-won's journey on the island culminated in a hilarious moment when the Pilates instructor feigned rejection, yet the pair ultimately left the island as a couple. Taking to Instagram in January, Jun-sik posted a collage of himself with Yeah-won, but neither has revealed if they are still dating. Recently, the two even shared a selfie on the social media platform after an outing together.

Moon Se-hoon and Shin Ji-yeon

Se-hoon fans were thrilled to see him and Ji-yeon become an item after several rejections. The last two episodes brought them closer together, with a touching moment when Ji-yeon shared her innermost feelings with Se-hoon. But the question remains: have they stayed together? They both follow each other on Instagram, but no posts have dropped any clues as to their relationship status. However, people are still speculating that the bouquet Ji-yeon posted not long ago was a romantic gesture from Se-hoon.
