MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Jeffrey Epstein's last girlfriend was spotted out and about in Manhattan for the first time since the DOJ ruled his death a suicide. Karyna Shuliak, 34, was dating the convicted pedophile financier before he died in a jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in Manhattan.

Shuliak was spotted looking unbothered on Friday, July 28 as she walked through the West 50s before eventually entering and later exiting a building in Manhattan Midtown that contained both an OB/GYN office. In pictures obtained by Daily Mail, she was seen wearing a slate green shirt with a pair of high-ankle printed trousers. She also had white wired earphones on and was carrying a big brown purse. She was spotted again the next day, rising early in exercise attire to take a stroll to Central Park and around its historic 6.1-mile loop. She wore joggers and a Santa Fe, New Mexico T-shirt for the early-morning walk.

The sighting was a rare one for Shuliak, who has been maintaining a low profile since Epstein’s arrest in 2019. Not much is known about her except the fact that she has a residence on East 66th. She previously listed her address as Epstein's townhouse at 9 E 71st St, which sold for $51 million in 2021. Her name was also connected to his Palm Beach property from 2015 to 2018, which was sold for $25.8 million two years ago. Originally from Minsk, Shulaik is said to have arrived in the US in 2009, and in 2013, she married Epstein associate Jennifer Kalin in what was allegedly a sham marriage in order to maintain her residency in the country.

Within a few years, she started dating Epstein himself. During their lengthy relationship, she would gain the moniker "the inspector" for her obsessive snooping on the billionaire financier. Shuliak continued staying with Epstein for the next six years, despite him admitting on his MCC health questionnaire that he had more than 10 sexual partners in the previous five years. Epstein is believed to have paid for Shuliak's mother's pricey medical care and may have contributed to the cost of her parents' fancy property in Minsk. He even helped put her through dental school, and she is a beneficiary of one of several trusts he set up, The New York Times reported.

Shuliak was the last person to speak with Epstein before his suicide

Shuliak was among those on Epstein's private plane when he was detained in July 2019 by the FBI, who had detained him at the well-known private airport in Teterboro, New Jersey, close to New York, while he was returning from Paris. She was also the last person who spoke to Epstein on the phone before his suicide. Prison records further revealed that 11 days before Epstein’s death, then 30-year-old Shulaik physically visited the late pedophile at the now-closed correctional facility, which was known for locking up high-profile inmates like Epstein and Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzmán in their cells for up to 22 hours every day.
