Ellise welcomed her daughter in her parent's bathroom in the summer of 2015, she was living at her mother's house. On what seemed like a regular day managing her restaurant, she initially dismissed stomach pain as a bug, only to discover it heralded the arrival of her child. During the Lifetime show episode, Ellise revealed that doctors had previously suggested she couldn't conceive due to infertility.
She elaborated, "I thought I had a stomach bug. I have been on birth control since before we got married, but the doctor says, 'Well you are, in fact, pregnant.'" Ellise's shocking pregnancy went unnoticed as she didn't have any baby bump throughout the nine months. She shared, "My body's exactly the same. I'm still wearing the same size clothes."
She added, "I am having some cravings for foods, but I've always had that." Ellise further claimed, "There are no signs that I might be pregnant." However, Ellise was in her parent's bathroom when she experienced an insufferable pain. She shouted for help, and her mother arrived in the bathroom.
Ellise shared, "I keep asking my mom, what's going on?" However, Ellise's mother shared that she saw her vaginal area and she saw only hair. She then left stunned and said, "My God, this is a baby's head coming out."

At 25 years old, she works as a restaurant manager, dedicating her life to both her restaurant and her daughter, Emma. Ellise shares a close bond with her brother, Greg, acknowledging, "He means the world to me". In a recent episode of the Lifetime Show, Greg revealed, "Ellise and I have been always very close, almost inseparable."
He added, "She works so much, the only time I get to see her is visiting her at the restaurant." Greg addressed Ellise's health during her pregnancy, "Ellise is getting like maybe a little huffy and her patience is definitely getting thin."
