The show has reportedly been rated highly by healthcare professionals throughout its run, according to CBS. The professionals find the series realistic and praise its accuracy in dealing with medical procedures and language. The show supposedly enlists help from actual medical professionals while preparing its scripts to maintain authenticity in its output. While not much is known about the upcoming season finale, it will likely delve into the eventual fate of Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch, played by Noah Wyle. From the very first episode, the show has hinted that the character's bike trip may not end on a good note, adding to the anticipation surrounding the finale. Another important storyline to focus on will be the brewing tension between Dr. Frank Langdon (Patrick Ball) and Dr. Trinity Santos (Isa Briones).
