The first official photos of 'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come' have finally been released as fans eagerly await the sequel to the 2019 horror film 'Ready or Not', directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. On December 1, exclusive photos of 'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come' were shared on the film's official Instagram page. The caption of the post read, "First look. Last chance to run. READY OR NOT 2: HERE I COME. Coming soon to theatres. #ReadyOrNot2."

For the unversed, 'Ready or Not 2: Here I come' is scheduled to hit the screens on April 10, 2026. During a recent interview with People magazine, Gillett and Bettinelli-Olpin, the filmmaking duo well-known for their works on the recent 'Scream' reboots, candidly spoke about the 'Ready or Not' franchise. "We never dreamed Ready or Not would connect with people the way it has over the past few years, and feel so honored to get to step back into Grace’s world," Gillett and Bettinelli-Olpin shared.

In addition to this, the directors also mentioned that returning to the franchise with Samara Weaving was "much more emotional than we expected." The duo elaborated, "The original movie really changed our lives in countless ways, and to see Samara back in that character and back in that dress felt really special to us." Elsewhere in their interview, Weaving also shed light on their emotional reunion.

Weaving said, "I was a bit nervous and not sure if I would remember what I was doing in the first one, but once I put that dress back on, I got super excited. The entire character came flooding back. We were all quite emotional in that fitting, actually. Revisiting the character is one thing, but working with that crew again was the best part." Furthermore, Weaving described the sequel as "so unhinged" and "absolutely cooked" that "you're gonna love it."

Meanwhile, as soon as the first 'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come' pictures dropped on Instagram, fans flooded the comments section, expressing their excitement. One social media user wrote, "Loved the first one, can't wait to see this one! Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and David Cronenberg will be fine additions to this." A second user wrote, "I can't wait to see your new movie." A third netizen stated, "My most anticipated movie, the first one, is one of my favourites, Samara became my favourite actress." "Oh glory, I'm already so excited, bring on 2026!" wrote another.

Apart from Weaving, the 'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come' cast also includes Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Sean Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, and David Cronenberg. Talking about the cast, Gillett and Bettinelli-Olpin said, "We can't say enough about how much we love the ensemble in this movie. We think everyone brought something genuinely special to their roles, and we're so thrilled with how scary, funny, and bizarre this cast of characters are."
