'Bachelor Mansion Takeover' sees return of iconic Bachelor Nation alums and here's how to watch for free
The famous mansion seen in the 'Bachelor' shows is getting a brand new makeover as the 'Bachelor Nation' franchise recently debuted its latest offering, 'Bachelor Mansion Takeover.' The design competition series features 12 contestants, all Bachelor Nation alums, who will return to the mansion to redesign the famous Bachelor pad that they once lived and loved in. They will put their design skills to the test in a series of high-stakes challenges and face emotional eliminations over the course of six episodes to win the grand prize of $100,000. The series will air on HGTV, starting on Monday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET.
Viewers without access to the HGTV channel need not worry, as they can watch ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ for free online. Those without a cable connection can opt for a live TV streaming service. It usually comes with a free trial, allowing subscribers to watch their favorite shows free for a limited time. One of the best options is DirecTV, as it includes HGTV in its base Entertainment plan and offers new subscribers a five-day free trial. Additionally, the new Genre Packs let customers select their own channel lineup based on genres for the best viewing experience. Their MyEntertainment pack includes HGTV as an option and is available for just $34.99/month (excluding taxes and fees). If DirecTV does not work for you, try Sling TV, as it offers three monthly plans that include HGTV.
Jesse Palmer, known for hosting 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette,' will assume hosting duties for the new series. The trailer sees him being constantly interrupted by construction as he tries to introduce the show to long-time fans. He reveals that the much-loved contestants from 'The Golden Bachelor,' 'Bachelor in Paradise,' 'The Bachelor,' and 'The Bachelorette' will move back into the mansion to spill secrets and refresh rooms. Tammy Ly, Dean Bell, Joan Vassos, Jill Chin, Noah Erb, Allyshia Gupta, Sandra Mason, Sam McKinney, Brendan Morais, Courtney Robertson Preciado, Jeremy Simon, and Christopher Stallworth will compete to win the hearts of the judges.
They will renovate different spaces within the mansion, including the kitchen, terrace, mixer room, bunk rooms, pool area, and the rose room. Their efforts will be judged by Tayshia Adams ('The Bachelorette' Season 16) and Tyler Cameron ('The Bachelorette' Season 15 runner-up), who will be the main judges. They will also be joined by guests from Bachelor Nation and HGTV. Out of the 12 contestants, only four will make it to the finale and compete to become the ultimate makeover champion. All episodes of 'Bachelor Mansion Takeover' will also stream on HBO Max and Discovery+.
