For fans of 'One Piece', the excruciating wait for the show's sophomore season isn't over yet. However, the ordeal just turned a lot more bearable as Netflix recently dropped a second teaser trailer for Season 2 of 'One Piece', also known as 'One Piece: Into the Grand Line'. The first teaser trailer was released on Christmas Day last year and generated immense fanfare, heralding the start of the obsession typically associated with news of the popular manga-adaptation show. The second teaser further confirms that Monkey D. Luffy will return for great, awe-inspiring adventures. Here's everything that we know.

As explained by BeeBom, the sophomore season of the Netflix show is expected to adapt the Arabasta saga and will culminate in five arcs: Whiskey Peak arc, Little Garden arc, Loguetown arc, Reverse Mountain arc, and Drum Island arc. Creator Eiichiro Oda has also confirmed that the final part of the Arabasta saga shall be completely depicted in the third instalment of 'One Piece'. An important new character introduced in the second season is Tony Tony Chopper.

The Nerdist has aptly summarized the tone of the newly released trailer, highlighting that the Netflix show emphasizes the wanderlust of the lead character, further strengthening the assertion that big dreams must be dreamt first for them to be realized. We see the Going Merry setting sail, followed by Luffy at Lougetown, revisiting the site of Gold Roger's execution. Luffy is then seen scaling the cliffs of what appears to be Drum Island. Elsewhere, Chopper and his mentor Hiriluk develop a heartfelt connection.

In addition to the trailer, Netflix also released an exclusive letter from Oda himself, who extended his approval and blessings for the second season of the show, "It’s almost ready!! With Season 1, we faced the world’s question head-on: 'Can ONE PIECE really be adapted into live-action?!' — and the answer spoke for itself, reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries and territories, and No. 1 in 46! Together with the stellar production team that delivered those brilliant results, we bring you Season 2, which will head into the Grand Line, the most formidable sea in the the world. In other words, all the conventions that were established in Season 1 will be shattered."

Deadline reports that the cast for the upcoming season includes Emily Rudd as Nami, Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro. They are joined by Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Langley Kirkwood, Jeff Ward, Vincent Regan, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, McKinley Belcher III, Chioma Umeala, Craig Fairbrass, and Steven Ward. 'One Piece: Into The Grand Line' will premiere exclusively on Netflix on March 10.
