CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Members of Revolution Club Chicago, a far-left group that fights to revolutionise humanity via Communism, is accused of burning the American flag outside a Jason Aldean concert in Chicago on Saturday night.

The reports said that around 20 communists from the group assembled outside Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park shouting "F**k the US and all its might," as they burned the flags.

What is Jason Aldean's 'Try That In A Small Town' song about?

They also made a reference to Jason Aldean's controversial song that condones actions of far-left groups during George Floyd's protests: 'Try That In A Small Town.'

"'Guess what Jason (Aldean)?" an activist Rafael Kadaris told the Chicago Tribune.

He added, "We will try that in a small town. We will try that in a big city. And we will try it right in front of your concert."

Why did the protestors burn the American flag?

Leo Pargo, one of the leaders of the group, said the burning of the flag was simply free speech while also advocating for communism.

"The people in the United States have been lied to about communism. This protest welcomes people who may not agree with all of Revolution Club Chicago’s tenets," he told the publication.

The group and the protestors are to "raise awareness" about the Revolutionary Communist Party.

The organization, through the Revolutionary Communist Party, advocates for a Marxist revolution in America, characterizing the US as "the belly of the imperialist beast," as per the Website.

How did the police respond to the incident of flag burning?

Even as the police rushed to call the protest "unlawful assembly" over the megaphone, reportedly no arrests were made.

The concert-goers were also said to be alarmed over the incident.

“We are ordering you to immediately disperse. Failure to comply can result in chemical or less legal conditions being deployed,” a Tinley Park police officer told the group.

Following repeated commands, the group burned another flag before leaving, video shows.

How are people reacting to Revolution Club's flag-burning incident in Chicago?

The Communists burning of flags has caused outrage with many taking to social media, some suggesting they were an unusual group of losers p****y that they had to get a job.

"The usual group of losers who are pissed they have to get a job," wrote one. One more asked, "Were any of them arrested?"

Another angry user wrote, "Burn their communist and progressive flags (they have so many) as well. Let's see how tolerant THEY are."

Some said the flag burning was incitement to violence. "This is Incitement to violence," wrote one user.

He added, "Getting the flag just to burn it in front of people’s faces like this is threatening.

"Idk why it’s not treated like that. If they took the flag & burned it within their group, I think it should be treated differently.

Following the release of the music video, and backlash, Jason Aldean explained about the song in a long social media post.

“In the past 24 hours, I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, addressing his 3.8 million followers.

“These references are not only meritless but dangerous,” he continued.
