LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Queens on the Run' (Spanish: 'Fuga de Reinas') documents the road trip adventure of four women who embark on a long-awaited road trip and experience some fascinating and scary adventures along the way.
The Mexican action-adventure comedy for Netflix was written and directed by Jorge Macaya. The comedy was produced by Perro Azul and Neverending Media, with executive producers Alexis Fridman, Martha Higareda, Miri Higareda, Martha Cervantes and Juan Uruchurtu. The main roles are played by Martha Higareda, Alejandra Ambrosi, Paola Nez and Valeria Vera.

What is ‘Queens on the Run’ about?
The plot of the Mexican action-comedy is very simple, as it follows four friends, Paty Fenix, who lives in the shadow of her husband, Marilu Davila, who is a full-time housewife, Famela Guerra, who is dedicated to her work and neglects her marriage, especially after the death of her mother, and Estrella Solares, who is known as the free spirit of the group, decides to go on a road trip during her school days, but can not go. After many years, some disappointments and a few drinks later, four of them decide to take a trip they have been holding on to.
The women are led by an impulsive but adventurous and exciting plan to leave their routines and husbands behind for the trip of a lifetime. On their journey, the four friends experience both interesting and dangerous adventures that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
'Queens on the Run' will premiere worldwide on April 14, 2023, on Netflix.
