Born in August 1997, in Bedford, Texas Murray's love for football started when he was in school. He has played at Allen High School. He was the Gatorade Football Player of the Year and the USA Today Offensive Player of the Year in 2014. He was a USA Today All-American and Mr. Texas Football from 2013 to 2014. Murray played his college football at Oklahoma where he won the Heisman Trophy and Davey O'Brien Award in 2018.
