The upcoming episode of ‘My 600-lb Life’ titled 'Krystal's Journey' chronicles the life of Krystal Hall. She is a wife and a mother of one and is able to move from one place to another unassisted but being over 600 pounds, Krystal is worn out completely.

A short synopsis of the episode reads, "Krystal begins overeating to shield herself with a protective layer of obesity after suffering years of abuse; once a means of protection, her pathological eating now threatens to destroy her life if she doesn't get help."

What happened to Krystal Hall from ‘My 600-lb Life’?

"It's been 20 years since I have been on a plane. I just know the seats are usually small and crammed," Krystal said while at the airport, gearing to make her journey to Texas to meet Dr Nowzaradan for her weight loss surgery. "So my worry is that it's going to be too much for me at some point and what it's going to be like to be on the plane at my size," she added. People stared at her as she moved across the airport to reach her terminal which broke her confidence further and made her feel like a "freak show".

As seen in the trailer for the episode, Krystal's husband Freelin is extremely supportive and always strived to be beside her in sickness and health. Sadly, her son Josh is a cause of concern. Watch the video here.

‘I don't want you to be embarrassed like this’

In the trailer, she spoke about herself in a deprecating tone and also revealed that she knew her son does not like to be seen with her in public and said that it hurts her the most.

Krystal wasn't just battling the uninvited stares from random people at the airport but also her son Josh who was constantly looking at his shoes. This shattered her. She knew she was a ‘big mom’ and since she couldn't do anything about it at that moment, she advised Josh to cover her face so that he could feel less embarrassed and ward off the unsolicited attention towards himself too.

Does Krystal make it to Texas?

Krystal, her son Josh, husband Freelin, and her mother are based out of Ohio which is an 18-hour drive from Texas where Dr Now's clinic is based. She was heartbroken to leave her home and family behind. In fact, she wasn't sure if she wanted to go meet Dr Now for the weight loss program.

“But I know we have to figure something out because I can’t give up on getting this surgery because if I do I won’t have much of a life for long. So somehow I have to work it out. I just don’t know how right now," she said a couple of days before getting on a flight to Houston, according to a Hollywood Life report.

Will Krystal Hall get the surgery she wanted? Can she lose the weight needed for the rest of the treatment? Well, only time will tell.

Fans do have their hopes up. "At least she's relatively mobile, and not bed-bound. She's not as large as a lot of the people on the show. I think she will do good," one viewer said and another posted, "Look at all of her determination to lose weight.....that's what those vehicles are for, for people who can't walk or need assistance. She doesn't have to be embarrassed. At least she's mobile."
