What happened at Aromatherapy Spa? Here's the massage parlor where Robert Aaron Long killed one Asian woman
The streets of Atlanta were filled with sounds of gun shots as a gun-bearing man named Robert Aaron Long killed four people and injured another person at different massage parlors on Tuesday, March 16 afternoon. The law-enforcement agencies said he was also a suspect in other two shootings in nearby areas. The three shootings left eight people dead.
The police also said that three people were killed at the Gold Spa while the fourth person was fatally shot across the street at the Aromatherapy Spa. Meanwhile, the other two shooting incidents resulted in four more deaths. Six of the eight victims were Asian women, per the law enforcement authorities.
According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, five people were first shot, with two pronounced dead at the scene and three taken to the nearby medical facility. Two of those later died at the hospital, per the sheriff's office. The media outlet also reported that a Hispanic man was also injured in the unfortunate incident and was taken to the hospital for further treatment. Four more people were killed later.

What happened at the Aromatherapy Spa?
Police first responded to Gold Spa, where they found 3 women dead from gunshot wounds inside the business. The officials were investing the scene and they received a call about another shooting at the Aromatherapy Spa. As soon as the officers reached the crime scene, they found out another woman dead from a gunshot wound inside the spa.
The police announced that the woman killed at the Aromatherapy Spa appeared to be Asian. It is also believed that the women worked at the spa as a masseuse. Since then, the officials have been searching the area and nearby similar businesses to find some information on the woman.

The motive for the killings has not been established and police “did not immediately know if the victims were targeted because of their race or ethnicity,” according to Reuters. The suspect has been taken into custody.

Aromatherapy Spa is situated on Piedmont Road in northeast Atlanta. Atlanta is the capital city of Georgia and is one of the busiest cities in the United States. It played an important part in both the Civil War and the 1960s Civil Rights Movement.

One of the reviewers wrote, “The Aroma Therapy Spa is worth every bit of YOUR time, effort, and money. Spend your time & money wisely. Choose The Aroma Therapy Spa!” Another one said, “The spa was a stress reliever for him.” Meanwhile, two other people simply gave it a five-star rating.
However, there was one person who was not happy with the spa and said “the ambiance and the staff was not good” and he was “disappointed” with the services.
