Twitter banning President Donald Trump from its platform saw him take to the POTUS account to blast the social media platform and accused it of "banning free speech". This development comes after Twitter permanently suspended his @realDonaldTrump account. A message was posted shortly saying: "After a close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence."

That though didn't stop him from lambasting the most popular platform. "Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me - and YOU, the 75,000,000 great...patriots who voted for me," he wrote. He also accused it of going "further and further in banning free speech". He ended the post by saying, "we will not be SILENCED!"

Naturally, Twitter did take it down, but not before the screengrabs went viral and were widely circulated on the platform. Netizens had their share of laughs as they trolled Trump for his act. "I would so love to be one of the Twitter employees assigned to this job. The satisfaction of hitting that delete button," read one of the tweets. "And he inexplicably still has access to the POTUS account (unless they’ve realized they need to lock that down for the next 12 days)," wrote another.

And one of the Netizens aptly put it: "He like the dude that doesn’t get the hint that he’s not invited to the party, but keeps showing up to look in the windows."

"I just heard that he has already been tweeting from the POTUS account so Mr. Desperate for attention could not stay away," one of the comments read.

Some just couldn't resist the laugh. "Trump tried tweeting from the @POTUS account and Twitter immediately sh*tcanned the three-tweet rant."

These suspensions follow after his account was initially blocked for posting a string of tweets misleading users about the results of the presidential election and also encouraging the mob that stormed the Capitol on Wednesday (January 6). Similarly, he was banned from Facebook as well.
