Navigating around a family that doesn't get along can be rather tricky. People stuck in these situations find themselves torn between two sides, all while trying to make sure their relationships stay intact. It takes time and effort and ensuring that the two sides don't interact. For the older Plathville kids, this has proven to be quite the juggling act.

Moriah, who has repaired her relationship with her parents, while maintaining one with Ethan and Olivia is now stuck in a sticky situation. Stuck in a corner, Moriah might have to make a tough choice.

With her first concert around the corner, Moriah decided to ask Olivia to play the keyboard for her. While Olivia agreed initially, she seemed to backtrack, having considered the situation. For Olivia, even though she wants to play for Moriah and support her, the thought that Kim and Barry would possibly be in attendance made her want to back out. Moriah wanted her younger siblings to attend, which meant that Kim and Barry would be there as well.

Olivia acknowledged that she was essentially making Moriah pick between her and her parents, but her boundaries were also important, even if they made the situation messy. Moriah addressed the issue during her confessional but also thinks that this choice shouldn't be hers. For Moriah, she is now caught between a rock and a hard place. Fans felt that Olivia should face her issues.

"Olivia has the right to ask if the parents will be around and decide if she's going to participate (or not). Just don't make your sister in law feel weird  #welcometoplathville" tweeted a fan. "Olivia. You're a grown damn woman. Just ignore her parents. Instead of you facing the issue you wanna run. Pls. #welcometoplathville" added another. "Moriah…you got a bar voice. Just FYI. Olivia…quit letting Kim dictate where you go. #welcometoplathville" agreed another.

"Breaks my heart to see that Moriah has to be put in a situation where she has to choose who she wants at her first show. Granted, its 100% her parents fault this is happening but im glad Olivia gave her that choice & explained its okay whatever she decides. #WelcomeToPlathville" tweeted a fan.

In the end, Moriah decided that she'd rather have Olivia play at her gig, as opposed to having her parents around. Although she's not thrilled to be caught in between, Moriah would rather have Olivia up on stage with her, seeing that she is one of the more talented and organized individuals she knows, making her the right person for the task. What do you think? Was it right for Olivia to put Moriah on the spot the way she did? Or was it in her best interest to protect her own boundaries? Sound off in the comments below!
