Ahead of its release, 'We Hunt Together' had teased vivid sexual chemistry and even more intense tension developing between the two killers and the two detectives hunting them together. But, by the looks of this, this is the very same thing stopping the cops from catching the murderers. The upcoming Episode 6, which is also the finale of the show's debut season, sees Jackson (Babou Ceesay) confront Lola (Eve Myles) about what she is really addicted to, and she calls him out back, forcing him to face his own truth.

The power play between the two is more aggressive than ever, but it is their innate inclination towards each other that's blinding them from figuring out the problem at hand: a rogue escaped serial killer and her manipulated boy toy.

Based on the teasers released for the upcoming Episode 6, Lola and Jackson are at Baba's (Dipo Ola) rented home where he and Freddy (Hermione Corfield) were holding Darren hostage before running off to her old hometown. This is easily in connection with Darren's death as this venue was the last place he lived at and the cops found his ID card in Baba's Bible too.

But mid-search, something snaps in Lola or so teases the trailer. Perhaps aching for a breakthrough, a frustrated Lola once again loses her cool at Jackson and piles him up with screams while her new boss finally gives her a loud piece of his mind too.

Jackson confronts Lola with how neither the case nor the drugs are her addiction. She is addicted to the guilt she feels over the loss of Jessica and that keeps propelling her into putting everything at risk and chasing ends that meet at the two of them putting their jobs on the line. Lola, when she has finally heard enough from Jackson, is prompt in calling out his arrogant, self-righteous, holier-than-thou facade that he uses as a coping mechanism for his personal life falling apart.

She asks him a simple question about who he would rely on if his life was in danger: him with his good heart or Lola with a giant stick and that seems to be quite the shutting up as well as an eye opening moment for him.

The two seasoned detectives are now marinated in the convoluted niches of each other's personal lives and there's no denying anymore for the burning need to ride it out. 'We Hunt Together' was always teased to be a cat and mouse chase aided by sexual tension and looks like the only way Jackson and Lola can clear out the foggy details in their head and solve the case is by caving in to the inevitable: sex.

'We Hunt Together' Season 1 finale, Episode 6, airs on Sunday at 10 pm on Showtime.
