Was Trump photoshopped in photo with Kevin McCarthy? Internet mocks his yellow tie and 'fake' smile

Some users found it strange that Trump chose to wear a bright, yellow tie instead of a red one, as he normally opts for. This combined with the ear-to-ear grin had many thinking he was photoshopped

More than being interested in former President Donald Trump's agenda behind meeting with House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday, January 28, people on Twitter were interested in analyzing the ex-POTUS' yellow tie and smile that was branded "fake" in the photo he took with McCarthy after the meeting. 

McCarthy and Trump reportedly discussed strategies for winning back the House majority for the Republicans in next year's midterms, according to our earlier report. According to the statement, McCarthy and Trump "discussed many topics, number one of which was taking back the House in 2022." The statement continued, "President Trump's popularity has never been stronger than it is today, and his endorsement means more than perhaps any endorsement at any time."

However, people on social media were more interested in pulling up his photo with McCarthy and mocking his choice of outfit. Some users found it strange that Trump chose to wear a bright, yellow tie instead of a red one, as he normally opts for. This combined with the ear-to-ear grin that Trump was flashing and many came to the conclusion that he might have been photoshopped into the frame with McCarthy. 

"I think Trump is photoshopped. Yellow Jim Jordan tie, above the belt, and what appears to be a blue shirt?" one of them said, while another remarked, "Trump: 'Watcha wearing for the photo op, McCarthy?' McCarthy: 'My Trump blue suit.' Trump: 'Perfect. Just don't wear a yellow tie so we don't look too matchy matchy.' McCarthy: 'Yes, sir, Mr President.'" A third quipped. "And now trump wears a yellow tie to match the golden showers look."

One more wrote, "Trump switched to a yellow tie for the photo that was officially released. What does the color yellow convey that Trump wants to project?" The next commented, "Trump looks old. That yellow tie matches his hair and fake smile."

Another asked, "I'm still trying to figure out the look Trump is going for at Mar-a-Lago. Medieval Knave? Nouveau riche, authentic-gaudy, faux-gilt, budget faintly baroque bonanza? Moth-bitten monarch? Ring the butler, I need a Diet Coke asap? Does this yellow tie clash with the gilded roses?"

"Damn, and I thought that Trump Tower's decorating was tacky as hell! Anyone else think that this place has it beat? And that life-sized statue with the ugly yellow tie gives me the heebie jeebies!" a commenter tweeted. One more wrote, "Yellow tie, bananas are yellow, monkeys like bananas, trump is a king kong supporter." A person said, "It looks like Trump's tie alert system has dropped from red to yellow."

Another commented, "I cannot stress how troubling this picture of Don the Con is with his Stooge McCarthy. Trump even changed the color of his tie to pee yellow. He is ready to piss on America because we dumped his crooked seditious a$$. Keep #TrumpOut. #ConvictAndDisqualifyTrump." A person said, "Ok I’m not normally into symbolism...but I Googled the meaning of 'yellow' after seeing Trump’s yellow tie and flowers in the background, and I’m shook."
