'WandaVision' Episode 9: Did Marvel confirm Episode 10? Tweet says 'two episodes left', fans refuse to believe

The caption of the tweet reads: 'Only two episodes left ... the eighth episode of Marvel Studios' #WandaVision is now streaming on @DisneyPlus'

Even as the world waits for what appears to be the ninth and final episode of 'WandaVision', a tweet from Marvel Studios, which is still pinned, seems to suggest otherwise. The caption of the tweet reads: "Only two episodes left  The eighth episode of Marvel Studios' #WandaVision is now streaming on @DisneyPlus." This leads to speculate if there is indeed the tenth episode in the offing despite the world talking about the ninth being the final one.

For now, Reddit theories suggest the final episode is 50 minutes long and that there is no tenth episode. Should this be right, then comes the question of how much information the episode can pack in, in that leaked runtime. Ideally, if there is no Episode 10, there definitely would be a conclusion of sorts and a post-credit scene that will either see a Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) cameo or showcase some footage from 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.'

Here's what the reddit thread u/[deleted] has to say:

"50 minutes long. ETA: WITH CREDITS AS ALWAYS No tenth episode. Battle between the Vision/Maximoff household and the big bad will take place. No other info, no title or description. Please do not DM me asking to send proof or if I know any more info because I won’t respond."

This is a possibility and Marvel keeping fans waiting isn't something new. After all, the world has waited for each of the 23 movies for months after each film's release. This could be a possibility in 'WandaVision's case and that means waiting for the 'Doctor Strange' sequel.

Alternatively, there's that tweet that has left people perplexed. Did Marvel Studios goof up with the tweet or was it already established, but fans for some cockamamie reason decided to not trust the very production house that tweeted it. If there is the tenth episode, that would mean no waiting for a week more for the next Disney+ series 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' that drops on March 19. A WandaVision Episode 10 means March 12 and then the debut of Anthony Mackie's miniseries along with Sebastian Stan.

Worst case scenario, if Episode 9 is indeed the finale, and the episode is for 50 minutes only, then we would just have to quietly mutter under our breath and suck it up. It would also mean a week's painful wait to probably process a promising 'WandaVision' blitzkrieg finale. For now, much is up in the air and we have no idea what to expect from the upcoming episode considering the previous one was an emotional roller-coaster.

'WandaVision' Episode 9 drops March 5, 2021, on Disney+.
