BUFFALO, NEW YORK: Anndel Taylor, a student nurse from Buffalo died after being stranded in her car for over eight hours. The aspiring medical worker was in constant touch with her siblings over a family group chat before she texted a heartbreaking message, "I’m going to sleep here for now." The tragic incident took place on Friday, December 23, a day before Christmas Eve, when the city witnessed a major snowstorm as she was returning home after work. The 22-year-old even shared videos of the worsening weather conditions on the family group as the snow started to pile up outside her window.

Taylor was furious at emergency services which had put her on hold for long durations, according to her sister, Tomeshia Brown. However, it is said that the rescue team got stuck in a blizzard too before they could reach her. Brown, on a GoFundMe page, shared the last few text messages exchanged between the two siblings, as she tried to raise money to bring her body home to Charlotte. “Please keep my girl's name alive and bring her home to Charlotte. She will never be forgotten,” she captioned the video link.

The duration of the clip is estimated to be around one minute and it has been viewed 2.9 million times, garnering 5,600 responses. Taylor’s first message on the family group was sent about 4.15 pm on Friday afternoon, it was a video message reading, “Stuck in a f***ing blizzard.”

Her follow-up message came at 6.39 pm, “I'm still here, been here since 3. The car I'm driving, muffler damn near on the ground already, then snow up to the tires... I'm mad irritated,” wrote Taylor. One of the family members responded by asking if she 'got heat', while one suggested she 'just has to get out'. Another relative made a light joke that it was the same 'weather SpongeBob had to deliver them pizzas in', but insisted she stay safe.

Talyor updated her family, 'I've been in and out shoveling, just called the fire department and they're sending a cop to me. I don't know how long that's gonna [sic] take." At 8.59 pm she again texted her siblings informing them that she had been put on hold and still waiting to be connected to the fire department. “All might be out, they said they're sending someone,” she texted at 9.09 pm. “I swing it open every now and then when the wind stops, but just now it was mad hard for me to get it open.”

At 9.37 pm, Taylor texted, “They don't gaf (give a f**k) man. I'm talking to them now so I know how to go about the night... If the car stays running in the morning I'm going to walk, snow at my thighs.”

She texted again, “Walk when I wake up,” at 11.56 pm, To which her family agreed and suggested, "to go to sleep and contact them when she woke up." In the morning, when the family tried to get a response from Taylor on her situation, they didn’t get any. With help of track my iPhone, her sister confirmed that she is still in that car, reports DailyMail.

Taylor’s body was found at 9 pm on Christmas Eve, though the authorities took it out not before 7 pm on Christmas Day. One person commented after viewing the video posted on the GoFundMe page, "I wish the police would have warned her about the exhaust when she called," 'Broke my literal existence seeing this... This is heartbreaking."

Taylor’s mother, Wanda Brown Steele, informed that a random passerby was the person who apparently got her daughter’s corpse to a coroner. “My children and I are angry, she was in the car too long. From Friday to Christmas," the mother expressed her frustration at the authorities.
