#VoteForOurLives trends as anti-Trump ad reminds voters of last chance to save America: 'Don't stop fighting'
Portland-based media team Eleven Films' poignant anti-Trump advertisement has sparked a new #VoteForOurLives online campaign. Featuring a montage from the recent George Floyd protests and demands for racial justice, the video titled, 'The Dangerous Ones', amassed over 9,500 retweets and thousands of views on Twitter. Funded by the Resistance, it went viral on Twitter on July 2 and garnered moving responses from users who applauded the media team for the impactful two-minute-19-second video. The advertisement urges viewers to cast their votes in the upcoming elections, as a "last chance to save America" and "don't stop fighting." A 29-second version of the advertisement was aired on national television, on MSNBC's segment 'All in with Chris'.
“In November, we have one last chance to save America. #VoteForOurLives,” Eleven Films captioned the advertisement in the tweet. Users took to the platform to endorse the advertisement, and promote the #VoteForOurLives campaign. "Stop what you are doing. Watch this video from @Eleven_Films. Pass it on. November 3, 2020 is the date of American democracy's last stand. #VoteForOurLives," said one user while another added, "Overpowering video reminding us all to live out the American dream, not the Republican scheme. One user wrote in a tweet."Ok Donald, you succeeded in making America great "AGAIN" in your version. We don't want that "AGAIN" Pack your voodoo things and leave please!". Another added: "Trump’s betrayal of America makes Judas look like a concerned friend."

The 2020 elections will be like no other, as unprecedented times have forced electorates to find alternatives to in-person voting. In the past couple of months since the pandemic swept the nation, Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, and Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, have effectively shifted to an indoor campaign, forgoing rallies and rope lines that are usually at the center of election season. Mail-in voting, absentee voting have been introduced in some states for those unable to go to a polling station due to illness, disability or any other reason. November 3, 2020, is the election day when Americans will vote for their new President.
