Vladimir Putin reportedly falls down stairs at home amid speculations about his declining health
MOSCOW, RUSSIA: Vladimir Putin is said to have slipped and fallen down several stairs at his house. The 70-year-old Russian president was reportedly assisted to a sofa by bodyguards after the fall as his personal physicians raced to help.
The latest account comes from a Russian Telegram channel called General SVR that frequently alleges the warmonger has a number of health issues that the Kremlin is keeping a secret. It was reported that the purported fall caused his coccyx to bruise but also revealed issues from "cancer in the gastrointestinal tract." Putin was allowed to go and speak at a gathering for young scientists in Moscow on December 1 despite this alleged incident.

According to the account, Putin was walking downstairs when he “stumbled and fell to his back, after which he fell on his side and slid down a couple of steps. The incident took place in front of the president’s bodyguards, who reacted quickly and rushed to Putin’s aid. Three security officers helped the president to get to the nearest sofa and called the doctors who are on duty at the residence.” Medical personnel "arrived within a few minutes, but could not immediately examine the president," according to the channel, which claims to have sources in Putin's inner circle without providing any evidence, as reported by news.com.au.
He had "oncology of the gastrointestinal tract, as a result of which he already experiences serious problems with digestion," and the fall triggered an "involuntary" response. “Before the examination, the doctors escorted the president to the bathroom and helped to clean up.” The report said, “After a complete examination, a bruise of the coccyx and soft tissues was diagnosed.”
The bruises were treated with medications and no serious conditions were identified. It will be investigated what caused the "fall" to occur. “He wears special shoes, even at home, with anti-slip coating, and the stairs in the residence are considered ‘safe’. As it turns out, all precautions are meaningless when nerves are at stake.” Putin's health "against the backdrop of constant stress, is increasingly causing concern for doctors and [his] relatives," the source stated earlier this month.
It stated that “due to cancer, Putin has serious digestive problems and has been on a strict diet for the past few months." He also suffers from “bouts of coughing, dizziness, sleep disturbances, abdominal pain [and] constant nausea” as well as “the manifestation of symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder."
The source also claimed, “Putin is on medication all the time, and preparing the president for a public display is becoming increasingly difficult. To this should be added the increased risks in terms of personal security [due to the failures of his war in Ukraine]. The whole complex of problems led the president to make a decision after the New Year to switch to the ‘self-isolation’ mode and spend most of the time in one of [his official] residences equipped with a so-called ‘bunker’.”
The source claimed that “the situation at the front is such that, given the current trends, Russian troops will be forced to leave all the occupied territories of Ukraine by the summer of next year” except Crimea. Putin travels with a medical staff that includes a cancer specialist, according to independent media investigations.
