'Vincenzo' Episode 16: Will Cassano shoot Myung-hee to teach Taecyeon's character a lesson in brutality?
Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong-ki) suffers a major loss in Episode 16 of 'Vincenzo' after Han-seok (Taecyeon) and Myung-hee (Kim Yeo-jin) manage to target his mother and even kill her. They are the real monsters as the show has reiterated multiple times. They have no qualms about hurting someone's family for payback, contrasting with how Vincenzo has repeatedly expressed his intent of never hurting someone's family, not even his enemy's.
So what really happens now depends on how angry Vincenzo is and whether he can control his rage long enough to plan for the future. Until now, Vincenzo had believed that his mother, Ms Oh (Yoon Bok-in) did not know his true identity. Turns out she did and that is also the reason why she asked for a day out with him. So the things that he had wanted to tell his mother, he had expressed unknowingly on the day the two of them had gone for a walk.

Considering that he could have had his mother in his life again if she wasn't killed really is a tragedy. His anger is quite clear from the way he apprehended the man who killed her after being hired by Han-seok's lawyer Myung-hee. He also gets him to confess about who really sent him to kill his mother. He even follows the killer's bloody track and follows him to the place where Han-seok and Myung-hee have sat down to celebrate their first victory over Vincenzo.
However, they have no idea how much wrath they have invited by killing Vincenzo's mother. They see it first hand when they see the man Myung-hee sent return bloody and bruised and fall at their feet. They get an inkling of the trouble that they have invited when they watch Vincenzo shoot the said bruised man without any doubt. The shock that we see on Myung-hee's face is definitely priceless considering how much she had enjoyed killing an innocent woman.
However, the real question now is if Vincenzo will go on to shoot the others who have gathered in the room. This of course includes Babel's other partner lawyer and Han-seok's brother as well. We believe that with 4 episodes left until the finale, Vincenzo will definitely not kill the main players, but that he will warn them with what he really is capable of. He doesn't live by any rules and he has no qualms about killing either so it would be better for Han-seok to understand his opponent better.
After their multiple losses because of Vincenzo, the only way they could really vent their frustration was by going after his family. That has only made him angrier. He is definitely going to blow up the plaza soon for the gold and also ensure that it doesn't fall into Han-seok's hand, and we cannot wait to see the other ways in which Vincenzo will beat Han-seok.
'Vincenzo' airs every Saturday and Sunday on tvN at 9 pm KST and can be streamed on Netflix.
