DENVER, COLORADO: Lauren Boebert has found herself in hot water after viral security footage showed her vaping and being disruptive before she was tossed out of a ‘Beetlejuice’ musical on Sunday, September 10.

The 36-year-old Colorado Congresswoman was attending ‘Beetlejuice: The Musical’ with Democrat Quinn Gallagher, who owns a bar in Aspen, at the Temple Hoyne Bell Theater in Denver when fellow audience members complained about the two being loud.

During intermission, the two were confronted by ushers, who issued a warning after receiving three complaints from other theatergoers.

According to the incident report, the employees received complaints about the patrons being loud and recording the performance, which is not permitted during the show.

Following a major warning, the pair allegedly continued their behavior and eventually, they were asked to leave the theatre, Daily Mail reported.

The report further alleges that they resisted leaving after exiting the theater, saying, "stuff like 'do you know who I am,' 'I am on the board,' 'I will be contacting the mayor.'"

What was Lauren Boebert doing in the video?

Boebert, who became a grandmother earlier this year aged 36, initially tried to downplay the incident by claiming that she never used an e-cigarette and that her accusers had gotten confused with stage smoke.

However, new footage released by News 9 captured her inhaling a vape before blowing smoke out through her mouth and nostrils.

The conspiracy theorist was also seen taking a selfie with a flash on her phone before dancing wildly in her seat and waving her arms, likely blocking the view of attendees behind her.

During the show, a pregnant woman who was sitting right behind Boebert even asked her to stop smoking vape. But the Republican firebrand refused and called her “a sad and miserable person.”

“These people in front of us were outrageous,” the woman, who was not named, said, adding, “I’ve never seen anyone act like that before,” per New York Post.

The woman, who is in her 30s, also accused Boebert of singing with her hands in the air, blowing vape smoke at her, kissing her date, and taking repeated videos during the show.

After a while, Boebert and Gallagher were again approached by two security workers and escorted away from their seats during the show.

As she was being escorted out of the theater, Boebert stopped several times, once to take a selfie and other times to turn around and seemingly yell at the security guards while wagging her finger.

The pair were later seen walking hand in hand after leaving the venue, with Gallagher spinning Boebert as they walked through an empty plaza.

What do netizens think of Lauren Boebert’s erratic behavior?

Following the incident, Boebert took to her social media to explain her side of the story, saying, “It's true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!”

She jokingly added, "Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!"

However, Boebert’s video has garnered immense social media attention, with users slamming her for causing a disturbance with her erratic behavior.

One user shared a picture of Boebert flipping the middle finger at employees on X, formerly Twitter, and wrote “Haha. Is this you showing your family value and Christianity to the Denver staff doing their jobs?.. what were you vaping?”

The person further added, “Classy date. Run dude!”

‘Boobert: "I did nothing wrong! My behavior was perfect. This is a weaponization of theatre etiquette!"’ a second user said sarcastically.

Another person said, “Lauren Boebert is an embarrassment to herself and her district. She was probably drunk AF while in the theater. Can't wait to see how she spins this.”

“Don't expect an apology. And don't expect House Republican leaders to do anything either, although GOP leadership loathes her,” the user continued.

“Boebert, Boebert, Boebert. Liar, liar, liar,” another user fumed while one more said, “This behavior is rude but also, deeply, horrendously embarrassing lmao.”
