'Vida' Season 3: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything else you need to know about the Starz show
'Vida' Season 1 premiered on Starz in May 2018 and the network picked up the show for a second season just a month after it premiered. The show was renewed for season 3 also just a month after its premiere.

'Vida' Season 3 is scheduled to release on April 26 and can be streamed on the Starz app or watched on the Starz network.
Plot:
The official synopsis for season 3 of the show is that “'Vida' returns with Emma and Lyn riding on the heels of success. The bar is booming and their love lives are actually flourishing... until the Hernandez sisters discover a long-buried family secret that ruins their hard-won peace. The sisters find themselves face to face with old ghosts and new enemies, all while deciding if they can continue together as a family or if they should move on alone, for good this time."

Melissa Barrera as Lyn Hernandez
Lyn is dead set on making the bar that she runs with her sister Emma successful in season 3. In an attempt to ensure that Vida the bar stays on everyone's it list, Lyn comes up with workable ideas. In season 3, Lyn will also see a chance at having a father the way she had always wanted, but will this really work?
Mishel Prada as Emma Hernandez
Emma has had everything under control until now. Her building, the bar that she started with her sister, the employees at the bar and she believe to an extent she also has Lyn under control but all of that will change with the return of her father in season 3.
Ser Anzoategui as Eddy Martínez
Eddy is Vida's widow, and as the wife of Lyn and Emma's mother, Eddy is also a part of the bar that the sisters run. While Lyn and Emma have had to acclimatize to many hidden facets of their mother's life after her death, Eddy is going to find out one of the shocking truths this season and it has to do with Lyn and Emma's father; who Vida never divorced.

The show is created by Tanya Saracho who is a Mexican-American actress, playwright, dramaturge and screenwriter. She has also written a couple of episodes of the popular drama 'How to Get Away with Murder'.

The trailer of 'Vida' Season 3 shows how Lyn convinces her sister Emma that their bar can be something better, and the two of them build something positive and chic with the help of the bar employees but things don't seem to go smooth for them. First, a few of them from the neighborhood seem to be protesting the idea of Lyn and Emma's bar and even tell them to "go back to" wherever they came from. Then, Eddy seems to find a shocking letter followed by which Emma tells her sister Lyn that their father is alive. The two sisters face another conflict, but will they come out of it together or apart?
