Utah pedophile filmed himself sexually abusing 4-year-old during funeral at church, admits to making child porn
A pedophile was arrested this week after he filmed himself sexually abusing a four-year-old boy at a church. 21-year-old Thomas Michael Wallin was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail in Utah on Tuesday after federal authorities executed a search warrant at his house, KUTV reported. The Department of Homeland Security had conducted an investigation and reportedly found proof that Wallin had been “manufacturing and distributing child pornography via the internet from his residence and electronic devices." The findings from the probe had resulted in the search warrant, per the station.
The child abuser, per the arrest affidavit, confessed to producing child porn and sexually touching a boy in December last year. Speaking to the authorities, Wallin said he abused a minor at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meeting house "as a funeral took place." Wallin told police that the abuse was filmed by himself. “Wallin has an extensive juvenile history of engaging in sexual contact with minors,” according to the affidavit, obtained by Deseret News. “Wallin sexually abused a young male during funeral gatherings at an LDS chapel. Wallin is believed to be a danger to children and has admitted to speaking with another associate regarding the kidnapping and rape of a child.”
Walllin is licensed as an unarmed security guard and has no disciplinary actions on his record, according to a database from the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. According to KUTV, the attacker was booked on three counts of felony sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, which is a first-degree felony. That said, investigators have requested that Wallin be remanded in custody without bail. He is currently being held in Salt Lake County Jail.
Earlier this week, a pedophile doctor was sentenced to 23 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to producing child pornography. Dr. Justin Neisler raised suspicions in 2018 after the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip claiming he was uploading child pornography to a social media website.
“You put your hands on those kids,” a federal judge told Neisler during his September 22 sentencing, with one of the victims and his mother also present in the US District Court in Denver. The boy’s mother chimed in, “I trusted the doctor with my kids… Unfortunately, I had no idea this was happening.” She claimed Neisler often asked her to leave while he took her son inside for the examination, KCNC-TV reported.
Tumblr noticed that someone was uploading graphic content of kids and informed the Colorado Force's internet crimes unit in November 2018. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was also notified about the same. Later in March 2019, Neisler’s home was searched by federal agents, who found child pornography on his cellphone and several other electronic devices. An analysis by FBI stated that the convicted criminal possessed nearly 6,600 still images and 1,725 videos of child pornography. While most of them were downloaded from the internet, it was unclear how many he had produced himself, The Sun reported.
