'90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Season 7: Blinding flash hits Kim as Usman wants to adopt his nephew
SOKOTO, NIGERIA: In '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?,' Usman "Sojaboy" Umar baffles Kimberly "Kim" Menzies with his adoption idea. A second marriage may not be a possibility, but he has a backup plan to keep his mother pleased. This might come as a shock to everyone following the reality show ardently.
Kim ultimately convinces Usman's mother to approve of their engagement. The '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' cast member must, however, sign a contract. She agrees to allow him to marry and have children. She must also allow him to visit Nigeria four times a year. However, it appears that having a second wife may jeopardize their goals.

Usman and Kim speak with an immigration attorney. They learn that polygamy is forbidden in America, therefore he is not allowed to have a second marriage there. So, if he got a second wife, he couldn't acquire a green card. Kim believes that the circumstance jeopardizes their entire union. Having a kid is crucial for Usman and his family. The reality star of '90 Day Fiance' is also unable to carry children of her own. Kim finds it frustrating and as a result is concerned for their future.
Usman discusses his future plans with Kim in the forthcoming episode of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' During a video call, he informs her that he intends to adopt Mohammed's son. Kim, taken aback, asks Usman if he's serious. Sojaboy clarifies, telling her that his siblings' children are his children in Nigerian tradition. In addition, he states that if something happens to his siblings, they are liable for their care. If finding a second spouse is difficult, the TLC star feels that adopting his nephew Mahadi is the best option.
Usman reveals that his brother's son, Mahadi, is extremely close to him. He also said that having children is significant in his culture. Furthermore, he feels that he and his nephew have a father-son relationship. His mother, however, is dissatisfied with his plan to adopt since his family believes that his child must have his own blood in order for him to be called his child. Mahadi, on the other hand, is his brother's offspring, therefore, he ultimately becomes his own blood.
Meanwhile, Usman wants to bring his nephew to the United States so that he would not suffer as other Nigerians do. He hopes for Mahadi to have a better life. Usman, however, is aware that his mother does not favor adoption. He believes, however, that she will finally accept. Kim has consented to Usman having children with another woman, but she does not want to be engaged in the child's life.
