The Capitol has been in the headlines after it was overrun by a pro-Trump mob. One woman, who identified herself as Elizabeth from Knoxville, Tennessee, was caught on tape tearfully saying, "I got maced" when asked what happened to her. She affirmed she was trying to go inside the Capitol. "I put a foot inside, and they pushed me," she added. "My name is Elizabeth from Knoxville, Tennessee," she identified. When asked why she wanted to go in, she replied, "We wanted to storm the Capitol. It's a revolution". The entire clip can be seen here:

Reacting to this news was Twitter that torn between anger and amusement. There were tweets from netizens sharing their thoughts on Elizabeth. "Thank you Elizabeth for identifying yourself and where you live so you can be arrested for your part in today’s events," read one of the tweets.

There were many tweets that agreed Elizabeth would have to be arrested. "Elizabeth is from Knoxville Tennessee. She admits storming the #Capitol as part of a Revolution. Arrest her for inciting an #insurrection against the United States. Pass on Elizabeth's public confession. #ArrestTrump #25thAmendmentNow," read another tweet.

"Elizabeth from Knoxville maybe will lose her job, her friends, her apartment, her kids? Way to go, Elizabeth. How’d that revolution work out for you?" read a comment. "There's nothing heroic at all about elizabeth, the protest wasn't peaceful by any stretch. Elizabeth and her hick husband are EMBARRASSMENTS to real american patriots," wrote one of the observers.

And then came the mockery. "JUST IN: Elizabeth is absolutely ANGRY that she tried to storm the capitol w/o permission & got maced! How dare anyone not let her do what she wants, when she wants, & how she wants. Elizabeth gets what Elizabeth wants. Momma loves you sweetie don’t listen to the bad man," wrote one.

"My favorite clip from today is not Elizabeth complaining about how mace ruined her revolution but the proud boy / snowflake trespassing on government property telling swat “you’re not allowed to shove me.” Imagine of all those peaceful BLM protestors had only been shoved," read one of the opinions.

One of the reactions stated it wouldn't be long before Elizabeth would be behind bars. "Give it a couple weeks. Every one of them will be tracked down. We know Elizabeth from Knoxville isn't going to handle jail well."

The protests took a murky turn when it was reported that a woman was shot in the Capitol. According to the New York Times, the woman's identity hasn't been released yet and Metropolitan Police Department chief, Robert J Contee said she was a "civilian" with investigations being carried out. She was pronounced dead when bought in at the local hospital.
