It's getting hot in here! As Arizona battles extreme temperatures, a UPS delivery driver was seen stumbling and falling over on a porch. The incident happened in Scottsdale as the UPS driver approached a home on Thursday. The delivery driver was seen stumbling and slowly keeling over and ultimately settling on the resident's front patio to catch some air. Since the video was released, many people have raised their concerns about the driver who was seen struggling in the extreme heat.

Brian Enriquez, the resident of the home, shared the video with KPNX and explained that he was at work on Thursday when the incident occurred. The footage was captured by the ring doorbell system, but he couldn't get to the doorbell notification as he was at work. Enriquez said, "I was concerned for the fact that he was coming, stumbling to the door. Had I gotten to my phone sooner, I could have talked to him through my Ring [doorbell] but he had already left the property at that point." The video shows the driver, who remains unidentified, walking to the porch with an envelope. Within a blink, he starts stumbling, and soon he's seen sitting on the porch as if he's out of breath. He later gets up, rings the doorbell, and leaves. Enriquez played his part right as he contacted Scottsdale Police for a welfare check and also attempted to contact UPS.

After the rising concerns, UPS released a statement telling NBC News, "We appreciate the concern for our employee and can report that he is fine. UPS drivers are trained to work outdoors and for the effects of hot weather. Our employee used his training to be aware of his situation and contact his manager for assistance, who immediately provided assistance. We never want our employees to continue working to the point that they risk their health or work in an unsafe manner.” People have been concerned about the driver and his condition in this scorching heat.

Internet raises concerns about UPS drivers' conditions

One user wrote, "That UPS driver basically passing out in AZ made me sad. There should be no reason outside workers are being made to work in this heat with no water in the trucks. & no they shouldn’t be buying they own s**t tf. They should have water & snacks already for them wtf. Jobs are wack."

Another user pointed out how UPS trucks have no air conditioning, "Maybe they’ll consider giving their workers trucks with AC!???"

One user said, "@UPS I hope you take better care of your workers than you do with profit Treat your people with dignity, this is embarrassing and so upsetting Be better."

Another user pointed out the same fact that their trucks do not have air conditioning saying, "This is not right. It was 110 in Scottsdale today. At 8pm it is still 100 degrees. My USPS driver told me today he does not have AC in his truck. Wonder if UPS does? From this video, I doubt it. This is dangerous. Do better for your workers @UPS."

One user wrote, "Temps have been over 100 for a month in the Phoenix area, but UPS trucks have NO AC, so on a day when the high was 117, a driver collapsed on someone's porch. If I was UPS, I'd fix this before I got a lot of bad PR from drivers dying at work." Another user criticized UPS for a vague statement saying, "UPS’ response was “He’s fine, they’re trained to work in heat”. Yeah, but uhhhh a little compassion perhaps? Geeze."
