'Unpolished': Bria Martone branded 'Brat Bri' after she throws a tantrum as Covid-19 ruins big wedding plans
The plot of 'Unpolished' Season 2 is currently focused around Bria Martone's wedding to Matt Mancuso. The two have battled his infidelity and her family's opposition to make their relationship of 10 years work and are finally getting married. There was a curveball thrown at Bria aka Bri before she could walk the aisle. Her father Mike "Big Mike" Martone passed away during the pandemic due to cancer.
Big Mike was extremely close to both Bria and his elder daughter Lexi. He was very involved in Bri (as she's known to her family and friends) and Matt's wedding and had promised a grand event to her. But all that was up in the air since his passing and the onus was now on Jennifer to do what she could do best for her daughter and to honor her deceased husband's plans for their daughter's wedding.
On the first episode of the season that began two weeks ago, Jennifer told Bri that she's fallen back on finances in the wake of Big Mike's death. The bills were piling up and Jennifer had no clue how she could pay for all of that as well as pay for the wedding and she laid the reality out on the table for both her daughters.
Lexi suggested that Bri postpone her wedding but to no avail. Bri threw a tantrum and made it clear that the wedding will happen as scheduled and Jennifer decided to do what she could to make it happen.
In the upcoming episode, Bri, Matt and Jennifer meet with vendors to discuss the logistics and that's when their banquet manager tells them that the guest list will need to be slashed. She told them that Covid-19 regulations state that only 50 people could assemble at the premises and Bri was also notified that there cannot be any dancing at her ceremony.
All of this information angered Bri to no end and she barged out of there while yelling at Matt who was caught off-guard with her behavior.
Audiences who saw the trailer for the upcoming episode were not really impressed by Bri's tantrum and nicknamed her "Brat Bri". "Little princess isn't getting the wedding of her dreams. Grow up, and think about all the real suffering that many, many people went through this year. This global pandemic isn't fun for anyone," commented a user.
"She is so stubborn..just postpone the date and get the wedding you want..jeez," wrote another fan. "Wah, wah, wah. It’s all about ME and MY wants. Forget about the fatal risk of Covid transmission," read another comment. "Someone needs an attitude adjustment," wrote a user while another commented, "Brat Bri strikes again".
'Unpolished' airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
