Patrick Clancy's fundraiser raises over $500K as support pours in after third child Callan Clancy dies

DUXBURY, MASSACHUSETTS: Lindsay Clancy's family has raised over half a million dollars in a fundraiser as people continue to pour in with their love and support for the family. Created by a family member, the fundraiser focuses on the father Patrick Clancy, who is going through an 'unimaginable tragedy'.
The GoFundMe page was created two days ago and was able to raise more than $420,000 in its first 24 hours. The donations had reached a little over half a million on Saturday morning of 28 January with $553,868 USD raised against the $700,000 goal.

Notably, the fundraiser was created before the tragic death of the third child Callan Clancy, the 7-month-old baby who struggled for three days in the hospital before finally passing away on Friday. He was battling alleged strangulation injuries received from mon Lindsay who is reported as having suffered from Post Pratum Depression or Psychosis.
Before trying to plunge from the window of the second story of her house, Lindsay strangulated daughter Cora Clancy, 5, and son Dawson Clancy, 3 to death as her husband Patrick Clancy reportedly went out to get a takeout order. "It took just 25 minutes for the time he was out that unimaginable happened," a family friend reportedly told on John DePetro Show. Lindsay also went to a program "five days a week for PPD", it mentioned.
Friend of Lindsay Clancy told me tonight: “ her husband was working from home instead of going in to work to be able to try and support her daily while she went to a program 5 days a week for PPD. And in the 25 minutes it took him to pick up take out, the unthinkable happened.”

Her husband was also working from home due to apparent reasons and was shocked when he returned home to find the children unconscious. He then dialed 911 to call for help. Clancy worked as a midwife at Massachusetts General Hospital and was on a leave. She is receiving medical care at the hospital where she is held under police protection for charges of triple homicide.

We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and outreach in support," Matthew Glaser organizer of the fundraiser wrote on their GoFundMe Page. It added, "We all know Pat to be the kindest and most genuine person. As someone who is always willing to support others, we sincerely thank you for offering yours."
Meanwhile, donations continue to pour in along with the support and love for the family. "I am heartbroken for Patrick, Lindsay, and their extended family in the wake of this terrible tragedy," wrote Elizabeth Michaud, one of the patrons, on the GoFundMe fundraiser page. She continued that the new mothers and partners should be trained to recognize these issues, "our healthcare system needs to do a better job supporting new mothers. My deepest condolences to Patrick, Lindsay, and their family and community."
"This is such an unimaginable, heart-wrenching tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with the Clancy family," said Catherine Costello. "We are keeping him and his extended family members in our prayers. So so sorry," wrote another donor. One mother, Donna VanLeuvan said, "My heart goes out to you and your family. I suffered from post-partum depression with both of my children."
Sean Hutchison wrote, "As the father of 3 small children this really hits home. Honor their amazing lives the best you can. May you find strength in the upcoming days, months, and years. Bless you, all. Leslie Olson wrote, "My heart sobs for you Patrick, and the entire Clancy Family. Trust that your three beautiful babies are your angels and will watch over you forever. God bless you and be with you."
