Ukrainian authorities have claimed that chilling symbols have started to pop up on potential prime Russian attack targets, which they believe is the work of Kremlin saboteurs. Eerie signs, such as bright red X-marks-the-spot ones, are appearing on targeted buildings. Ukrainian officials have now urged residents to be on the lookout for such symbols on places like residential high-rise rooftops and gas pipes. Authorities have also asked locals to keep an eye out for suspicious people who may be leaving the clues.

Officials from the city of Kyiv, the country’s capital, recently wrote in a Facebook post, "The city authorities are asking the residents of high-rise buildings, who have access to the roof access, to urgently check the roofs for signs. If any marks are found, please cover them with earth or cover them with something.”

In another Facebook post, mayor of the western town of Rivne, Alexander Tretyak, expressed his concerns over the same issue. “URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT! I ask the heads of condominiums to close all attics. If you or the occupants of the house notice in the entrance, on the roof, near the houses of unknown persons, the mark of the label – immediately inform law enforcement,’’ Tretyak said. "URGENTLY inspect your roofs, in case you find marks, paint them and close the access to the roofs.’’

A resident of Kyiv told the Australian Associated Press that people are trying to cover up the symbols and weed out infiltrators. “Many people are walking around the streets, even children, looking for these marks,’’ Anastasia Russo, 25, said. “We are doing everything we can to cover them.’’

Russian President Vladimir Putin could reportedly be deploying one of the deadliest weapons known to man to the country and is also considering nuclear options. Putin deployed a terrifying rocket system onto the battlefield after three days of defense by Ukrainian forces. In footage verified by CNN, the Russian army was seen moving TOS-1 Buratino rockets towards the front line. Meanwhile, Putin reportedly also ordered the military command to put nuclear deterrence forces on high alert following aggressive statements by NATO countries.

Besides nuclear warheads, TOS-1 'Buratino' and TOS-1A 'Solntsepek' are some of the most dangerous weapons in modern-day warfare. The tanks, which feature a terrifying oblong-shaped rack on top, are loaded with batches of incendiary and thermobaric rockets that can wipe out everything within a 300-yard radius. British military sources warned that the weapon could potentially kill tens of thousands of civilians if used. The blast from the rockets is said to produce a wall of flame that is followed by a vacuum, causing fatal damage to lungs and other internal organs.
