NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Professional mixed martial artist Nate Diaz left onlookers utterly terrified as he was seen choking out a man in a street fight after he attended his team-mate Chris Avila's bout in New Orleans on April 21. The UFC fighter was in attendance for Avila's victory over Paul Bamba in the main event at Misfits Boxing 6 but things changed drastically outside.

The 38-year-old earlier caused a fracas inside the venue when he threw a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor, MMA Fighting reported. However, things would escalate even further after Diaz was seen getting involved in a brawl after the fight outside New Orleans' XULA Convention Center.

Diaz chokes man in a street fight

Diaz, who was set to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match in August, was seen wrapping his arm around the man's neck on the video and then leaving him out cold on the floor following the clash. A woman nearby who also can be seen in the video pleaded to both Diaz and the man to stop fighting before Diaz left the man lying on the pavement.

Dana White cracks joke after watching video

UFC boss Dana White was seen in another video reacting to the viral clip. He is heard asking if the man taken down by Diaz is Logan Paul, brother of Jake. "He knocked him out! Whoever that is he knocked him out," he then adds. "That guy's head bounced like a f***ing basketball." White concluded, with his head resting in one hand, "He's going to get sued like a motherf****r."

Conor McGregor reacts

Another popular UFC fighter, Conor McGregor tweeted after watching the video, "Hahaha Nate on a rampage tonight! Let’s go Nate! Hahaha." Since September last year, Diaz has not fought professionally. He has 21 wins from 36 fights but is quite easy to rile up even outside the ring, as he proved during the New Orleans street brawl.

Diaz threw a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor

Before the street altercation, Diaz, who was sat ringside, threw a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor. While it is unclear what set the altercation off, Diaz was furious as he turned around. DeMoor, who has starred in Netflix's 'Too Hot To Handle' and 'Perfect Match', later warned on Twitter, "next time don't run." "Nate Diaz decided to get mad and throw a prime bottle on me, that's cute bro," DeMoor tweeted.

He added, "Just next time don't run. And stop spending your nights in the club trying to use your dried up MMA career to pull college girls while you're out in New Orleans." Before this too, Diaz has thrown water bottles when angry. He did the same to McGregor during the press conference ahead of their rematch at UFC 202.
