Mr Brown has long been infamous for trying to pin Cora's (Tamela Mann) paternity on other people — to the point where it's become a long-running gag within the Tyler Perry fandom and anybody who's acquainted with the world of the Browns and Perry's self-portrayed sassy grandma avatar, Madea. Bringing the same energy to the soap opera slash comedy maestro's 'Assisted Living', Mr Brown's next scapegoat in the little game called Cora's not my daughter seems to be the grumpy grandpa Vinny.

In the still new sitcom's upcoming episode 7 titled 'The Weeping Willow', "Vinny and Mr Brown exchange details about their encounters with Madea," teases the official synopsis. Perry's Madea has been one of the most popular and timeless characters of his and considering he just wrapped putting up Madea on the stage for hundreds of thousands of his audiences, this looks like a good time to revive the character on the screen. Explaining why out of nowhere Mr Brown (David Mann) hits up his latest rival, aka Grandpa Vinny (Anthony J Brown), in his quest of Cora's real dad.

Mr Brown, who had been significantly absent from the series in the last three episodes, finally returned at the end of Episode 6 for a sum total of five minutes. He was invited back to Vinny's new dilapidated old home by the grandson, Jeremy, upon his wife Leah's suggestion. Unable to reason with Grandpa Vinny, Jeremy decided to seek Mr Brown's help in the matter. Vinny wasn't budging to get a renovation done, and Jeremy sought Mr Brown's wits to get Vinny to change his mind. So when Mr Brown returned, the initial sparks flew off between the two older men, once again engaging in some tension-filled repertoire, insulting the life out of each other, but this time something was different.

Madea came up and loos like Vinny might know about her more than one would imagine or expect — thus leading Mr Brown to once again whip up some crazy fantasy about Cora being Vinny's daughter, because why not. It's not certain whether Cora is actually Vinny's daughter or not, or what the odds of it even are, but considering the two men are going to engage in some long drawn out conversation that becomes central to the plot of Episode 7, there's a high chance that Mr Brown might have finally found the man he had been looking for.

Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living' airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm only on BET.
