Things are pretty tight with the way Jeremy's life is panning out to be on Tyler Perry's latest sitcom 'Assisted Living'. With a perpetually displeased grandpa who doesn't shy away from finding faults with everything, and angsty teenage kids too cool for their parents' recent move to rural Georgia - poor Jeremy is jobless and at a loss of figuring out ways to make ends meet. His only hope is the rundown dilapidated old-people home his Grandpa Vinny has bought with all of Jeremy's inheritance money, and while Jeremy tries to get through his family members' heads looks like convincing people what's best for the family might not come easy.

Titled 'Captain Crush', Episode 3 of the debut season will reportedly follow Jeremy as he tries to convince his grandpa that renovating the tattered business establishment is the only way to go about allowing the venture to prosper. Without a penny in hand, Jeremy has to rely on his unreliable grandfather just to get by, and on top of that his children aren't showing him the strongest of confidence, so there's that issue as well. Jeremy's children Sandra and Philip are also keen on finding out just why their parents are so distressed. With Jeremy's money woes doubling, his wife Leah is also bearing the brunt of things. In due course of their investigation, Philip also ends up discovering more details on why his father had to move cities, all the way to Georgia. Whether that will be incriminating for Jeremy or not, one can't really tell at this moment how Jeremy or his son might react to finding that out.

But it is obvious Jeremy is slowly starting to get through to his family about their move. His children's demeanor is finally taking a turn for the better. Their understanding and consideration towards their parents are also coming out a lot more than one would have expected and that is reason enough to hope that even if the problem continues to be just Grandpa Vinny, there's still hope for Jeremy finding some peace in this new place.

'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c only on BET.
