Spoilers for Tyler Perry's Assisted Living Episode 10: 'Dark chocolate'

Finally, after weeks of debating on it, the cat is out of the bag, or should we say Vinny is off the hook? In the final moments of Assisted Living's Episode 10, titled 'Dark Chocolate', yet another round of bickering ensued between Grandpa Vinny and Mr Brown and in due course of this fight, the latter managed to do what we had been wondering all along: pull the hook off of Grandpa Vinny's hand and prove he was faking it all this time!

The episode got very disturbing very quickly, with Jeremy and Leah's daughter Sandra expressing interest in a member of the opposite sex, who turned out to be a grown bus driver of all people. And when not showing the implication of Sandra's new crush, the episode focused on Grandpa Vinny and Mr Brown fighting about how bad the other one smells. While Grandpa Vinny pulled in a few comparisons of the 'musty' smelling 'back of an earring' among other gross stuff, looks like Mr Brown might have won this round by busting his lie to the rest of the family in the presence of Jeremy, Leah, and Cora.

Taking it to Twitter, fans expressed their thrill at having guessed Grandpa Vinny's lie all along. "Grandpa Vinny been faking it this whole time!" was the jubilant expression that rang common amid the audience tweeting about the show on social media. "Ain’t no damn way. Mr. Brown pulled Vinny’s hook. That’s gotta be the funniest scene in the episode," shared another viewer. Another enthused: "Grandpa Vinny hook hand is FAKE!!! I knew it, I Knew It!!!" A third fan quipped about the situation noting, "So umm...no more hook hand I guess. They probably got tired of the character having a hook hand." Another fan was just happy they had been right about the hook all along. "See what happen at the end y'all.. I mention about five times that Vinny was faking the whole hooked hand thing," they wrote on Twitter.
