Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s legal fight might be happening in Virginia but fans have laid claim to the battlegrounds of social media. Fans of both the actors are leaving no stone unturned to prove their star innocent while portraying the other as the devil. After Depp was given the first chance to take the stand, his former wife testified in court last week. 

Apparently, the ‘Aquaman’ actress’ testimony made quite an impact on people as she emotionally described the alleged abuse she suffered while being with the 58-year-old. She also accused the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean' star of being an animal abuser.

However, there are many true fans and supporters of Depp who will not let go of any opportunity to ridicule Heard. One such fan, @kiIIeronrhodes, recently took to Twitter to share, “A not so friendly reminder that Amber Heard took Johnny Depp's dog away from him in the divorce and gave it to her father, who was jailed for abusing dogs #DeppVsHeard.”

The user went on to substantiate their claims by posting a link to a RadarOnline report and also shared what seemed like some court papers. The report from last year claimed that David Clinton Heard “was the ring leader of barbaric dog fights that rendered pit bulls maimed or dead”. It also noted that the father of the ‘Justice League’ actress “was once arrested, convicted, and served jail time for animal cruelty by orchestrating a cruel, heartless, torturous pit bull ring in Texas in the 1980s,” while citing criminal court filings from Midland County, Texas. “Law enforcement also found narcotics and professional poker equipment on the property,” the report added.

After @kiIIeronrhodes’ claims spread online, people have gone after Heard with one tweeting: “Honestly Johnny Depp isn’t doing this for money or anything aside from clearing his name, fully and entirely by showing what exactly has happened. He’s setting an example for how these things should actually be handled. She should get in major trouble for all of this.” Another said, “Sooooo many fun facts coming forward, I’m going to be pissed for years if he doesn’t win!” “as a pittie and animal advocate, this greatly upset me as well you wouldn't believe the horrific torture that is done to these poor animals, it's diabolical torturous cruelty,” a third one added.

A person noted: “No doubt Johnny has lost a lot. She's like a bad penny who keeps showing up & for all the wrong reasons. How many of you are thinking as I am that she's a potential stalker. She's going to keep popping up I think. She craves attention. Like JD said she will do anything to get it.” Another said: “Oh no that's beyond horrible. That would tip me right over the edge if that had been me. I've had similar ish but at least my Jack Russell went to my ex partner's parents who were kind and lovely people. It was still heartbreaking tho."

A tweet read: “It would have been done just to add more stress to Johny Depp, its just to show what type of person she is ,but the truth always comes out .I cannot understand why people cannot see what Amber has been doing once l heard the phone calls and seen the video evidence.” And when someone asked, “What kind of evil person does that to a dog?!?” a person remarked, “Same person that would make false accusations of domestic violence and rape.”
