The popular Turn Around Challenge's history dates back to when the world became obsessed with Bonnie Tyler’s single 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'. The song revolved around the conversation with her lover as she asked him to turn and remember what they had. Despite the years that have passed, the song is still debated on the platform.

Someone claimed, “The song is about vampires in love.” Another said, “The song is about a school teacher in love with a student.” The song has a popular refrain, “Turn Around Bright Eyes." As people are enjoying the song, it has also inspired some to create the so-called Turn Around Challenge.

What is the Turn Around Challenge on TikTok?

The Turn Around Challenge started on TikTok in 2020. Today, it is one of the trending challenges on the app. The challenge requires at least two participants. They must sit in a circle, and both should do a side roll simultaneously while 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' is played in the background. They should then relocate to the spot beside them without clashing with anyone else. The important rule is that the participants should start to do the side roll when they hear the words “Turn Around” in the song.

'I'm going to explode'

It sounds the same in every clip." Someone else wrote, "Im going to explode."
