President Donald Trump, on Thursday, October 10, slammed his favorite news channel, Fox News, for releasing a poll that found a majority of Americans want to see him impeached.

The poll found that at least 51 percent of registered voters support Trump's impeachment and removal from office, a record high for the network's survey.

Trump, shortly after the release of the poll, took to Twitter, saying: "From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck."

The president went on to single out television personalities who generally criticize him and expressed his disappointment with Fox News, saying that the television network is not what it used to be.

"[Fox News] is also much different than it used to be in the good old days," Trump tweeted.

"With people like Andrew Napolitano, who wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice & I turned him down (he's been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesn’t deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I’m President!"

Trump reportedly speaks to Fox News primetime host Sean Hannity privately on a regular basis and sometimes calls in live on his show on the network.

Multiple journalists have also previously pointed out that the president frequently mentions topics that were discussed on 'Fox & Friends' on his Twitter feed, often within minutes of the show's airing.

Trump had also taken an issue with a Fox News poll in August, which stated that the Republican was trailing four potential Democratic opponents in the 2020 presidential race.

The president had denounced the news network back then, saying: "There's something going on at Fox. And I tell you I'm not happy with it."
