Donald Trump could have been displaying coronavirus symptoms on Wednesday, September 30, only hours after the first presidential debate against his rival Joe Biden.

The 74-year-old president had tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, October 1, and had to be taken to the Walter Reed medical center on Friday, October 2. As per Bloomberg News, aides close to Trump revealed how he had been under the weather and was seemingly 'exhausted' on Wednesday.

A few of his close aides believed that Trump had been tired from his hectic campaign schedule. A couple of aides did, however, begin to wonder whether he had coronavirus. On Wednesday, Trump hosted a rally in Minnesota only a day after he traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, for his presidential debate against Biden.

At the presidential debate, the first family including FLOTUS Melania Trump were seen without face masks while Trump even poked fun at Biden for the amount of time he wears a face covering. During the debate, Trump had said, "I think masks are OK" as he pulled out a face mask from his suit jacket pocket.

"I put a mask on, you know, when I think I need it. Tonight is an example, everybody has had a test. I wear a mask when needed. When needed, I wear masks," Trump said. While speaking of Biden, Trump shared, "I don't wear masks like him. Every time you see him, he's got a mask."

He shared that Biden "could be speaking 200 feet away" and then "shows up with the biggest mask I've ever seen". We had earlier reported that Trump and First Lady Melania tested positive for Covid-19 on October 2. Trump had taken to Twitter to share, "Tonight, FLOTUS, and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!"

FLOTUS too had taken to her Twitter account to share the news and had written, "As too many Americans have done this year, @potus & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together."

The White House revealed that Trump had been taken to Walter Reed Military Medical Center unannounced on early Friday evening "out of an abundance of caution".

We had earlier reported that Trump's senior-most and closest White House aide Hope Hicks had tested positive for coronavirus. According to reports, Hicks, who serves as counselor to Trump had been in close proximity to the president and had traveled with him to a rally in Minnesota on September 30 after which she tested positive on Thursday, October 1.

At the time, Trump had taken to Twitter to say that he and Melania would be quarantining as they awaited results on their Covid-19 test. He had written on Twitter, "Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid-19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process.”
