The tension in the atmosphere is palpable as the elections are just around the corner and there is much breathless anticipation as Americans wait for November. During President Donald Trump's Pennsylvania rally on Saturday night, he recalled his 2016 run against 'crooked' Hillary Clinton, as he called her. He discussed going up against her and the crowd chanted, 'lock her up'. Trump laughed and said, "I agree."

"I used to say, 'Now, now, now, we won. Don't do it'," he continued. "I try and stop it, but now — She's crazy. Bill is stone-cold afraid of her," he said. Just earlier this week, Clinton had said Trump should not be allowed to 'steal the election' and said his behavior was 'blatantly authoritarian'. She said, "The only remedy for this blatantly authoritarian behavior is for voters to turn out for Biden-Harris in such overwhelming numbers that Trump & the GOP can't steal the election."

Trump has been shouting from the rooftops that the 2020 election against Democratic nominee Joe Biden is 'rigged'. He has been saying mail-in voting, and that it is infested with widespread fraud. He has called it a scam to influence the election in favor of Democrats. In Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday, the president addressed the issue of “harvesting” votes or “ballot collection” where a third party collects and submits the votes of others. He told his supporters that Democrats will harvest votes and stop those from Republican voters from being processed and counted. "In a very nice way, I will tell you, they are trying to steal the election just like they did it last time with spying and we caught them," he said.

"Even recent small and easier to control elections which did this are a catastrophic disaster," he tweeted."Fraudulent & missing Ballots like never seen before. 20% and 30% off. STOP!"

Clinton, who lost to Trump in the 2016 election, recently advised Biden not to concede this fall. "Do not concede under any circumstance because I believe the other side is going to cheat and sneak and try everything they possibly can," she said in a recent interview, according to The Hill. "I think that [Republicans] have a couple of scenarios that they are looking toward," Clinton said. "One is messing up absentee balloting. They believe that helps them so that they then get maybe a narrow advantage in the Electoral College on Election Day. So we've got to have a massive legal operation, and I know the Biden campaign is working on that."

Her husband and former President Bill Clinton added: "He'll be stacking sandbags around in the White House. "It's very important to keep in mind that beneath all these big questions you are asking [is] just Donald Trump's proven ability to manipulate the psyche of the people that he is trying to scare the hell out of.
"Now, this is a person who says, 'OK, I can't win on my own, but people will believe whatever I tell them as long as it's bad'."
