It's been more than three months since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and more than a week into the protests across the United States over the death of an African-American man, George Floyd, and now the right-wing and left-wing have made Twitter another battlefield.

#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver became a trending topic on the social media site on June 6 in a reflection of the upcoming election this year as protests continued across all 50 states. With Joe Biden securing enough delegates to bag the Democratic nomination for the 2020 race for the President of the United States, President Donald Trump's supporters rallied behind him with former president Richard Nixon's reelection slogan: "Now, More than Ever".

One user tweeted, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver Democrats burning up the cities," while another wrote, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver Thank God for a #LawAndOrder President! @realDonaldTrump." Another opined, "Ha the Trolls are getting Trump more exposure than ever. Thank you! Trump 2020 #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver." A user expressed, "We need President Trump now more than ever. Liberals love to slander him yet will vote for Joe Biden who is a rapist and was a segregationist. I’ll be voting for President Trump once again in November because I truly believe in making our country great #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver."

However, it was not long before K-Pop stans and detractors of the president overtook the hashtag, and while the former flooded the hashtag with references to their favorite K-Pop artists, the latter took to calling for Trump's imprisonment.

One K-Pop fan wrote, "Instead of stanning Trump y’all should go stream My Time by Jungkook #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver," while another tweeted, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver oops, I think your autocorrect was on. Let me fix that for you 'Kim Namjoon'." One user wrote, "Trump has been accused of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment, including non-consensual kissing or groping, by at least 25 women since the 1970s, and you want this guy as your president? #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver." Another tweeted, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver What, for imprisonment? If that's the case, I completely agree."

One user opined, "Trump should serve two terms... One in state prison and one in federal prison. #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver," while another wrote, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver Yep. This year should be the start of his prison sentence for crimes against humanity, desecration of the White House, and murder by negligence during a pandemic." A user tweeted, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver Trump should definitely serve in 2020..... In a maximum-security prison for Murder, Racism, and crimes against humanity." A user joked, "When I saw #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver trending I thought the Nazis had taken over twitter completely; but when I saw people are saying things like 'he should serve two terms: one in state prison & the other in federal', I decided not to delete my account after all." Another wrote, "I want to apologize to every kpop stan I've ever argued with, and thank them for the great work they're doing spamming hashtags and annoying racists #Trump2020NowMoreThanEver." A user tweeted, "#Trump2020NowMoreThanEver I was expecting to see some ignorant s**t on this hashtag but it was just K-Pop stans doing gods work and beating the s**t out of this dumb tag."
